Hello Mike,
In a large number of changesets such as osm.org/changeset/40387787 you used an offensive changeset comment “Improving map or correcting deliberate damage by brianboru”. In most of those cases Brian hadn’t even edited in the area at all; in the couple that he had no damage was evident.
He has commented on these asking for an explanation. You have not provided one.
Back on 30th June I wrote (by email from the DWG) in reply to you:
”> I don’t generally comment as I don’t feel a need to.
It’s important that we try and work together - it’s a collaborative map. For example, in the case of the Bridport deletion, it wasn’t obvious until you replied in the changeset discussion that it wasn’t an accident.
Also - and this is important - don’t use changeset comments such as “Improving map or correcting deliberate damage by brianboru” on e.g. osm.org/changeset/40387787 when the object in that changeset has never been touched by that user. Caontinuing to do this WILL get you banned.”
You haven’t apologised, and have continued to edit without changeset comments. You will therefore be blocked from editing OpenStreetMap.
Before doing anything else, I would strongly suggest that you provide a full public apology to Brian. This email thread would seem to be an appropriate place:

We can then consider where to go from there.
Best Regards,
Andy Townsend (SomeoneElse) on behalf of OpenStreetMap’s Data Working Group.
