155158046 | fa près de 12 de mes | Hi Abetsi,
This area is mostly forest but your changes have broken the multipolygon that was there. Can you fix this? Please make sure after editing that you have not broken multipolygons. You can just reload the map at a high zoom level to check everything is fine. Best,

153959972 | fa près de 12 de mes | Thanks Jordan. The features in OSM map do not have to be visible on satellite images, they just have to exist. Satellite images do not show everything. Many rainforest tracks in Cameroon have been added to the map with the help of field GPS survey.
Please also discuss this with the members of the Cameroon Urban Platform project. Happy mapping to you,

153959972 | fa près de 1 an | I just undeleted these ways. Please let the community know on which basis you delete ways. I see that you have deleted many forest ways in other changesets. Please revert these changes if these were not based on the knowledge that these ways no longer exists. Note that forest ways (footways) are not visible on satellite imageries since these ways are hidden under the trees (this is different from forestry/logging tracks that can be driven with a car). You have to visit the place yourselves to digitize the way and monitor its state. |

153415236 | fa près de 1 an | And here is a misclassified residential area (should be a forest):
You can find those by just looking for large gray patchs on the map. I see a few others. |
153415236 | fa près de 1 an | And two others here:
|
153415236 | fa près de 1 an | There is another broken relation here that needs inspection for instance:
|
153415236 | fa près de 1 an | You can use OSM inspector and fix all the issues that are displayed in it:
For instance a forest polygon east of Eseka is currently broken and OSM inspector indicates that there is an element of that multipolygon that is wrongly classified as outer. See here:
A simpler way is just to look at the map and find all empty area. In Cameroon the entire country has been tagged so if you see a white patch it means a new error has been introduced recently. |
153415236 | fa près de 1 an | Hi, ok, that's great news new people are trained to build the map. Its important to explain them well how relations works since many people have work hard to get the map of Cameroon so detailed. There seems to be a miss-conception about residential area as you can see in this relation:

153415236 | fa près de 1 an | Thank you Engelbert for your prompt reply. Yes you fixed it. It seems that forest multipolygons around Yaounde have recently been broken repeatidly by different people. And I can't keep up fixing them. Please don't hesitate to help fixing these whenever you encounter one. |
