168665133 | 25 days ago | Sorry I'm not sure where you're getting 9% from. The link you provide for `currency:XBT` shows 7.35% with a combination of `building=*`. This key is fairly small in terms of sample size though, only having around 17,000 uses. Checking some more common POI keys though, I believe this is more common of a combination than you think: `key` - combination % - ~combination total `amenity` - 10.98% - ~3.34 Million
This also includes parking, so remove ~70,000 for `amenity=parking` + `building=*`.
`shop` - 19.25% - ~1.28 Million
Sure these are still a minority in terms of percentages, but to me over 4 million objects mapped this way means its still a fairly common way to map it. Like these from around the Greater Houston area:

This restaurant is the only thing in the building so theres not a need for it to be a separate node. I've re-added the building and merged the node back in with changeset/168670890 |

168396583 | about 1 month ago | I think something went wrong with this changeset, all of the nodes added here are at (0,0). |
164099950 | about 1 month ago | I've changed the tagging of this from `natural=peak` to `natural=hill` in changeset/168314108. Tbh, I don't think this should be tagged as a hill either, but its at least more accurate than a peak. An `ele=12` is barely a hill, but definitely not a mountain peak. |
145708545 | 7 months ago | Appreciate you catching that, and thanks for fixing it! |
145708545 | 7 months ago | Honestly I have no idea, about a year ago I went through the billiards tagging to clean it up to the standard that the Wiki had said. I've never heard of Bar Billiards before so at the time I probably just assumed this was a tagging mistake for Bar tables (7ft) as they are generally called in pool leagues, I can change it back if you'd like. |
154328976 | 7 months ago | Hi, the POI you added for Big Tyme Billiards is a duplicate of node/11037664808, so I have removed it. |
158998912 | 8 months ago | Hey, just wanted to check whats up with these `house=terracedhttps://www.articulate.com/360/` tags, is this some kind of ad or just a copy/paste error? For example: osm.org/way/1332811976 |
159937660 | 8 months ago | Hey this is awesome, thank you for taking care of a lot of these streams! I've been meaning to do something about these for awhile and am really happy to see these added. |

152623905 | about 1 year ago | Looks like a section of this bus route was deleted in this changeset. |
152502611 | about 1 year ago | Ah alright thanks for confirming, I haven't been down Kuykendahl here recently so I didn't realize they had cleared those trees. If you ever need anything please let me know! |
152502611 | about 1 year ago | Hi, thank you for your contribution, just wanted to check why you deleted the natural=wood and natural=scrub areas here when you added the park? These area types are not mutually exclusive. |
148531868 | over 1 year ago | Apologies, the bounding box for this is a lot larger than the area of edit since I split the railway here to add a bridge: |
147957251 | over 1 year ago | Apologies for the changeset bounding box being large, looks like it was because of this crossing I added with the railway: osm.org/node/11668360335 |
146691660 | over 1 year ago | This bounding box was a lot larger than expected, guess I accidentally moved a node on the river when going along there. Apologies for that. |
143449868 | almost 2 years ago | This is to resolve a note, should have waited to close it in iD so it would be in the changeset tags but I closed this before I made the edit and didn't want to reopen it just for that. |
