120871034 | about 3 years ago | Why did you delete the driveway and building? |
120771144 | about 3 years ago | No worries! It happens. It's an OSM guideline or rule of thumb. When edits for two POIs stretch entire continents, it can make it hard to sift through changesets in a particular region. Say, for example, Kansas, someone wants to see potential changes to the farmlands, this changeset would also pop up. Anyhow, welcome to OSM! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I'll see you around, especially once you join the OSM Discord. Haha |

120771144 | about 3 years ago | Please upload changes and edits before changing geographic areas. This should have been two uploads/edits, one for California, and another for New York. Also, what source did you use for this edit? |
120730762 | about 3 years ago | Google Maps is not an acceptable source. I know, it's tricky. But here are a couple links to read up on:
osm.wiki/Potential_Datasources I've even had it where Google Maps gets it wrong! But due to copyright issues, Google can not be used as a source for OSM. Probably the easiest way to contribute when out and about is an app called StreetComplete. It allows info to be directly added when on foot visiting businesses, etc. Since you seem to travel the area, I highly recommend this app. You can add street type info, addresses, hours, access info, roof shape and a whole ton of other info! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. I would be happy to answer any you have or get you in contact with the right people. |
120730762 | about 3 years ago | First, welcome to OSM. Second, what source did you use to verify the information or get the information to the map? |
120442082 | about 3 years ago | So without going you know it is closed? Ok, sure, but yet you said you visited it originally. So did you actually visit it in person? |
120365756 | about 3 years ago | What source was used? |
120442082 | over 3 years ago | You have done a lot of traveling to say you visited in person to verify. I find it unlikely given all your other travel "in person edits". And if you found it in the news, which news source? And why would you verify in person if it was on the news? Just redundant. |
120442296 | over 3 years ago | which one from that webpage in particular? |
120442082 | over 3 years ago | Source? How do you know it is closed or has been for 3 years? |
119976591 | over 3 years ago | What do you mean you "fixed" them if you deleted most of the roads? Can you elaborate? |
120022935 | over 3 years ago | Can you explain why you are just deleting the buildings instead of squaring them? There could be a lot details contained in the object, such as address or type, but instead, you just deleted it without adding a replacement with the details? |
120090993 | over 3 years ago | Can you elaborate? How is it a continuation if you deleted but never added to the map? |
120109531 | over 3 years ago | Be careful when moving things. A lot of it cokes down to the satellite imagery that is being used. https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/17661/aligning-roads-to-proper-location |
120107726 | over 3 years ago | Can you elaborate on what was done? Putting "xx" is not really appropriate for changeset comments and doesn't really help when trying to figure out what you did or why. |

120104454 | over 3 years ago | If possible, please upload the changes before moving onto a new geographic area. |
120075041 | over 3 years ago | I actually find it hard to believe you have been down these roads. But whatever. Thanks for adjusting the road placement. |
120074901 | over 3 years ago | Pioneer Road does not appear to exist in the correct location on satellite imagery. It also does appears to connect to the roadway already there, and it was not added as such on OSM. |
