What /exactly/ did you "update". I'm assuming you got rid of a golf course that is now housing?

If so, can you please try to provide a bit more detail than just "update". even "Replaced golf course with houses" or "Golf course removed" would provide a ton more details.

Looks good! pssstt - you made the right decision to add it yourself - we're often slow as volunteers.

If you would like to get more involved in this open source project, I encourage you to try the app called StreetComplete.

close. But the restriction should all be "private", not "no" for some. I've gone ahead and corrected it.

Good job and thanks for the edit. However, in the future, please close the note you created regarding the item you are updating. Otherwise people will have to check it, unsure whether the action is complete.

They may have traces, but in most cases they do not have any railways or rails.

These rails (which do not physically exist anymore), are constantly being attached to buildings, roads and other relations. There are no longer rails, and OSM guidance is to map what is physically on the ground. In fact, the OSM wiki straight up says the mapping of nonexistent railways is incorrect:
osm.wiki/Demolished_Railway

It's even in bold.

Furthermore, the ones that are paved over or are now just roads with no trace remaining, it does not meet the definition of "razed". There are no traces. If the rail is paved over, there is rail left. It is gone. Razed would mean there is some remnant.

As far as osm.org/edit#map=19/33.80985/-84.45570
goes, yes, it is apparent rails used to be there, and should remain as "razed" until such time that it gets overbuilt. In cases such as along the shore, the rails have been rebuilt extensively.

I encourage these "historical" railways with no "on the ground" presence to be added to OHM (OpenHistoricalMaps) instead. This way the work can be preserved. In some cases, the rails were removed in the 30s. This would be best way to keep the history, even long after they have been fully removed and are not actually "on the ground" and shouldn't be mapped according to OSM guidance on the wiki pages.

what source did you use for this edit? From what I can find, Exit 3 became Exit 7, not Exit 4.

Thanks.

The error with you being in the wrong location is on your end with whatever app you are using, not OSM.

I do exactly what you say! I usually can't be bothered to map buildings, so I just do tbe landuse approach to cover the whole grounds for similar looking buildings.

I believe he has done some editing in ID. He closed a bunch of his notes.

As far as that building you mentioned, perhaps just change the 3 to building parts, then do a building around all 3 and move the tag to just the building? It is all one building, just different parts.

we should get user ds8x in on this too.

Thanks for catching the error. And idk, what do you think is best?

Can you explain the process on how you are getting this info from a Public Health Department?

Is there a reason you just spammed businesses here? Clearly there aren't this many in actuality.

Additionally, what do you mean "Add business according to local social distancing protocol"?

122093668 about 3 years ago

What's with all these businesses?!?!

121957744 about 3 years ago

Roger that!

Welcome to OSM! I see you use StreetComplete as you become familiar with OSM, and dabble with ID. StreetComplete is a wonderful tool. There are always new things to add, more details to uncover, US flags to be added, and businesses to be listed.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want me to take a look at any of your edits. I would be happy to (I don't usually monitor the review request tags). I'll see you around on OSM!

Reviewed. Looks good to me!
