Hello Chulia. Thanks for mapping here.. A few remarks. Please use the Maxar P imagery. Much recent and clear.
About your mappings. You did not square a single building. Please use the Q key in I D editor at each building.Look out for objects with both inside and outside a shadow. These are no buildings, but open sheds to keep (small) livestock.
You map a bit oversized, do not include the shadow on the ground in a mapping,
If you are interested in how they build their settlements here, take a look here

Hello Sully. Thanks for mapping here.
I am reviewing mapping work and have some remarks on your mappings.
Please use the MAXAR P Imagery. Most recent and very clear. Bing is much older. When you switch between them you see empty places on Maxar and buildings on Bing. So people have abandoned those settlements.
try to map as precise as possible and square the rectangular buildings each time with the Q key. Map round buildings as round buildings
you mapped a few buildings top right as L shape. When you take a close look you find them rectangular. ( build op experience how to recognize objects)
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello Devika. I am reviewing your mappings. First of all thanks for mapping here.
Remarks. Please use the Qkey in ID editor to square your buildings.
The small buildings are round with a porch. Just map them as a round building.
Most other buildings can be mapped as rectangular with 4 node or L shape with 6nodes. The roofs are made of grass , banana leaves and have rounded corners, but the buildings are rather rectangular.
I cannot see which imagery you used, but if you did not, please use MAXAR P as default Imagery. Most recent and very clear.
These are your mappings and adjustments I've made

Hello Meenu. Thanks for Joining the team
you just mapped 1 building and not as it should be.
First. This is not a building. on Bing a very small object not worth mapping. Maxar P , very clear image shows nothing.
Keep yourself to the instructions how to map and to tag. No naming of building etc. Just tag building=yes.
best regards

Hello Jessy, Thanks for mapping here. A few remarks.
In general your mappings are of a good quality, Sometimes you tend to map buildings oversized.
Do not connect nodes of buildings together Square always a building after mapping with the Q key in I D editor. The Maxar P image is better and more recent to map from. Use that in future mappings please.
best regards and keep mapping.

Hello Thanks for mapping here. I am reviewing these mappings with the Maxar P imagery, wich is and more recent and better to read from. Your mappings were fine, despite the Esri image. Please use MAXAR P for future mappings.
If you are interested in how these settlements were setup, take a look here.

Hello Fermandobal. I saw your request for a review. This mappings are fair. Just a few remarks. try to keep the form of the buildings as easy as possible. Rectangular buildings, with just a small porch, map these with just 4 nodes. L shaped buildings with 6. You missed a few buildings on the very low part. I mapped them
Best regards

Hello Roshan_Nepali. Thanks for mapping on this project.
a remark. Please use the Maxar P imagery to map on this task. There were more buildings to map. Please try to map all buildings in these settlements in 1 session.
Best regards

Hello Sujith. I am reviewing this changeset as well to see how this is mapped.
Here I see that you also mapped a building twice. First of all. Please use Maxar P imagery for next mappings. Most recent and very clear.
Rectangular buildings should have just 4 nodes. L shape buildings 6. more complicated buildings have so many nodes as necessary . Always square the buildings you have mapped. Q key
best regards
I corrected the errors you've made here

Hello Shrikant Sahu. Thanks for mapping here. A remark. You are making beginners errors. First of all. Why calling an settlement here as Leisure=park. This is the land where the Maasai people live. When you are interested in how they organize their settlements , please take a look here. Correct mapping should be landuse=residential. There is no need to map them as such. The 2 other mappings which you tag as building=yes are fenced areas next to the settlement. Should not be mapped.

Please use the MAXAR P imagery for next mappings. Bing is rather old. I corrected them.

Hi Cdh10. Another issue. Please do not map buildings on top of others, And use the Maxar P imagery
You are working in JOSM. Do you run the validation tool to check on errors and problems? These errors always pops up

Hello Cdh10
you marked a few object with a fixme. are these buildings? No they are not. for me this is scrub. You can see it also on the size . What you actually see on the Maxar P image are pixels which has been collected to be able to get a better view. single pixels represent an object of 30 - 50 cm. .Please use Maxar P imagery since it is the most recent and very clear
Best regards

hello Yostina. Thanks for mapping here. The buildings you have mapped here are rectangular. What you see from above are the roofs which were made of natural materials like grass or banana leaves. They are modelled roundish on the corners. You can map these just rectangular with 4 nodes.(square them with the Q key in iD editor)
Round buildings are perfect round, sometimes with an entree . Map them just as a round building.
when you are interested how the Maasai people live, take a look here
http://www.johntyman.com/africa/
sMaasai lives in the south of Kenia and the north of Tanzania
Please use Maxar P imagery in future mappings. Sharper and more recent

Hello J0000d
A remark. In this area the Missing Map project 5741 is also rolled out.
there is a different approach how to tag hamlets. On these projects Hamlets, settlements are tagged as landuse=residentil. Will you be so kind to use the same taggings in future mappings? Thanks.

Hi Bouxy99. During review of some tasks my attention was caught by this changeset.
Why all these deletions? I checked the mappings of ALPZz and they were correct as far I can see

Hello Yostina. I was reviewing this changeset and noticed the way you mapped buildings. The images are taken under an oblique angle. It shows a building not exact from above so It seems that the roof ridge is somewhat beneath the building, Please map them as a rectangular. (4 corners at a common building)
best regards and keep mapping

Hi Vijay. I was reviewing this task, looked to your mappings here and thought 'this must be a joke." How did you come on the idea to tag these settlements here as leisure=park?
No hard hard feelings, but, please be more seriously with what you tag. When you are in doubt, please ask on Slack.
I will check all your mappings and correct them without further notice.
Best regards and keep mapping
