Hello, Thanks for mapping here
Please search the area on a 30-40mtr scale to locate buildings.
When mapping a highway which continues in another task block, please map it over the edge so other mappers can continue in that block.
Best regards

Hello. Thanks for mapping here
A remark
Most of the buildings you have mapped are not rectangular squared. Please, always square the buildings you map with the Q key in IDeditor.
I invalidate this task so that still can be done.

Hello
Thanks for mapping here.
Please pay more attention on squaring the buildings you map with the Q key in IDeditor>
Please solve also the issues which are reported by the issue triangle on the righthand menu of ID editor.
You missed 2.
Best regards

Hello
Thanks for mapping here
A request.
Please review your knowledge about tagging highways. You use track where Unclassified is a better option. ( Public road) The same road a bit further on has been tagged as tertiary. Please read the wiki about that!
Best regards

Hello, Besides the fact that you did not square buildings, you also mapped buildings overlapping each other
Please do not ignore the warnings the IDeditor gives and correct them

Hello.
Here as well you did not square the buildings you have mapped.
Please refresh your knowledge about tagging highways. You map throughgoing highways as track ( acces road to fields etc) which should be unclassified. Small roads which are to be tagged as path, did you call unclassified.
Do not use Footpath tag here. Just Path
(people, livestock, cycles and motorcycles are used here)
I will invalidate this task so you can correct it

Hello Sabareesh. Thanks for mapping here
I review mappings of new mappers and have some remarks.
Please square all rectangular buildings with the Q key in ID editor. 21 out of 26 buildings you mapped are not squared !
You also ignored the warnings you must have seen before uploading your work
See the issue triangle on the right side menu.
These issues have to be solved before uploading.
Best regards

dear H Lewis,

Here you can find everything about HOTOSM
osm.wiki/Main_Page
here's everything you need to know about conventions and rules.
btw. I am a senior validator whose job is to review mappers work, repair bad mappings and advise mappers how to improve their mappings. So, no hard feelings. Just advising and asking to improve your skills.

Hello. Thanks for mapping .
It is a long time ago, but we now review mapping work and have a issue.
You map quite a lot of buildings and call it landuse= residential, Building=yes. is the correct one. Landus=residential is covering a hamlet, village etc.
Please keep that in mind at future mappings
Best regards

Hello Tempz, thanks for mapping the bulk of the buildings in this task.
Unfortunately there are some issues which require additional work on this task: several (25 out of 100 ) of the buildings are mapped having a non square shape. This is highly unlikely for a real building. We can safely assume that buildings are rectangular in this area unless we can see that this is not true.
As outlined in the instructions please do not let individual buildings share nodes - map them as separate objects. Although buildings may be connected in reality we run into a problem here. If someone wants to fix the shape of a building it automatically distorts the surrounding buildings making any cleanup a lot more difficult.
If you can, please solve these issues. But since you (probably) use ID editor, maybe leave this to someone using the more advanced josm editor. Or start using josm yourself. See for more info https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ee3XkQ2VwaY
Thanks again and please keep mapping.

Hello Hlewis, back again. Yes, you are totally free in how you map.
BUT ! You as well ought to map confirm the standards and rules of how to map.
Similar to drive a car. You are free to go wherever you want, but you need to keep yourself to the regulations,

I think you missed my point. on this task you mapped residential areas through buildings and connecting to highways, These are serious errors and ought to be avoided. In this situation the mapping has been done in a project area of HOTOSM.. So validators, like me, review work of mappers and comment on it when it is necessary.
No need to react further.
Best regards

Hello Marco. Thanks for mapping here.
A request. You forgot to square so many buildings . It cost a lot of time to solve those issues. During mapping it is just a small push on the Q key.
Another issue. High buildings needs another approach Because the satellite image has been taken under a certain angle, you will see the top and the siding of a building. You include both in your mapped building. Just map over the roof of a building and move it to the place where the building meets the ground. That is never in the middle of a road.
Take a look to this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAPiGntG6fs
This video is made for JOSM, but in ID editor you can use it as well. Best regards

Hello. A bit late, but I've noticed in what way you map residential areas.
When you map residential areas, please avoid connection with nodes to other features like buildings and in particular highways.
Best regards and keep mapping

It cost a lot of time to correct these.

Hello ManonVi
Thanks for mapping
Please review the highway wiki how to tag rural highways. The tag Tertiary is not to be used in hamlets

Hi Olha. Back again
Please take a close look to the highway wiki to get a better understanding how highways has to be tagged.
Here you tagged a local small highway as tertiary highway ( thorough going highway)
somewhat lower you mapped a hardly to recognize highway and called it a track. Path ( < 2 mtr wide) should be better.
Best regards
Frans

Hello Olha.
There is no need to map tracks between the fields themself. Just to and from settlement to fields.
Best regards
