Changeset When Comment

Hi. I just added the tag estuary to it because it is part of a bigger area.
Should be adjusted to cover the whole estuary, but that is not within the scope of this project. So I leave it as it is.
Thanks for commenting on this.
Best regards

Hello. Thanks for mapping on this project.
A remark.
It is not necessary to map every single piece of farmland. Just map the circumstance and the canals (not the individual ditches)
See also the comments in the comment section of the project.
I will correct these.
Best regards

Hello , I have a question
You mapped canals here from south west - north east. Also canals west-east without connecting them to the canal southwest - north east.
I think, difficult to see, that there should be a culvert to make it possible that there is a water flow to irrigate the farmland.
What is your opinion ?

We welcome you as a new mapper.
Thanks for your contribution to this project.
This changeset is reviewed by a Global Validator to check that the tasks have been mapped in accordance with the quality standards of HOTOSM.
We cannot expect from a new mapper that he/she delivers high-quality mappings from the start, so we offer some guidance.
Please pay attention to the next summarized issues. (see attached document with examples for more info)
-------------------------------------------------------------
A: Inaccurate mapping.
Stay within the rooflines to map accurate.

C: Collecting adjacent buildings and mapped it as 1 building

E: Buildings not squared, 5 out of 45.

G: Included the shadow of the buildings. (buildings are rather high, they show a big black spot on the north side. This is the shadow. Not a part of the building,

Hello. You are rather busy with mapping, I see,
A remark on this task.
You mapped a rather big area as farmland, despite most of the area is wetland without proof of farmland,
cultivated land with ditches etc.
The instructions ask to focus on waterways like canals. No big water bodies
See this webpage with my adjustments

Hi Gnoye.
Don't run the validator tool before you upload your work ?
It shows errors like not using the right tag for layer at a bridge and not connected waterways
Best regards

Hello Gnoye.
A small detail.
A bridge ought to be tagged with layer=1 instead of level=1

Hello. Thanks for mapping .
A remark. When you map a waterway/road to the edge of a task that continues further on an adjacent task, please map the track a bit over the edge of the task. Another mapper on the adjacent task will see it and can continue mapping. When you stop on or within the edge, it don't show up on the adjacent task.
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello. Thanks for mapping on this task
I noticed that you are a new mapper. Welcome.
I reviewed a few tasks where you did some mappings.
However, they were not complete mapped. (mainly farmland)
Here, you mapped a triangle as farmland (not covering the whole area) However, this was already mapped by another mapper
On the east side, you just mapped a small part after deleting an old (2020) mapped farmland.
Do you have a mentor who can assist you with these mappings?
This don't work well.
Please do not mark a task as complete mapped till you gained more experience. (just mark more mappings needed.)
Best regards.

Hello. Thanks for mapping on this project.
Please don't connect nodes of a highway with nodes of land use areas.
These are errors which need to be solved.
If you have the validation tool installed in JOSM and used, you get a warning about these issues.
Best regards

Hello.
Check this way history
514860434
You can see that you indeed tagged the outline as landuse=residential. but added also place=village to it.
The place tag should be placed on a single node. (in the centre)
I hope this is clear now.
Best regards

Hello. Thanks for the mapping.

I'm afraid you misinterpreted the instructions.

You map an area and tag it as place=village or place=hamlet.

The idea is that you tag the mapped area as landuse=residential and add a separate node and tag it as place=village or place=hamlet.
Check the instructions please.
PLease don't add a generic name.

I have modified it.

Kind regards and keep mapping

I'm afraid you misinterpreted the instructions.

You retagged an area and tag it as place=village
The original tagging was correct !
