Hello MichAbi. Thanks for mapping on this project. I'ts a bit late, but now we are reviewing mappings and checked yours as well.
A remark. Please be more accurate at next mappings. by following the outlines of buildings as good as possible, Always square your buildings with the Q key in iDaeditor
Best regards

Hello Scott. Thanks for mapping here. You mapped quite a lot of buildings. Great !
We pay extra attention to new mappers to check if they comply with the quality issues and correct mappings.
A major remark. Do something about your mapping skills, Your mappings are very insecure, not squared and of a poor quality. We understand that it is not easy to start with mapping, but take the time to draw each building as good as possible. The Imagery is very good to deliver quality mappings, so please improve your mapping skills.
Do not forgot to square each building after mapping it with the Q key in Id editor.
Best regards

See this document
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RAoZqtxw-C3EbbcD1gszKOl99B2FtI4w
Because the missing tasks have to be mapped as well is this document made where a mapper who want to map on that part can check what have to be done.
We have to be carefully because you run the risk that a few mappers are mapping the same spot and get a conflict by creating duplicated mappings.

Hi Grie_mar
You know about the empty places which still need to be mapped ?
See my comment on the Slack channel (validation of HOTOSM how to deal with that.)

Hello Javiber. Thanks for mapping here.
A question. Did you read the how to's about how to map, Your mappings are far from how they should be. Please improve your skills by going through the lessons again.
(Please before you start mapping again)

Hello Traky. I checked this changeset as well.
Very good and accurate mapped.!
Just 1 remark. Please map the smaller buildings between the ones you've mapped as well next time.
It is preferred that you map all visible buildings in his task so that it is completed and can checked as complete mapped. Otherwise others have to go over it again to complete the mappings

Hello Traky. Thanks for mapping. We (validators) pay extra attention on the work of beginner mappers like you.
You mapped just 1 building here, a bit too detailed and not squared.
Which imagery did you use ? In this project the MAXAR STD is the most recent and clearest Imagery.
Always square your building with the Q key in iD editor.
You should be warned by the issue triangle on the right side of iDeditor.
Don't ignore thos and try to solve the issues.

Hi . Back again. After reviewing a part of your mappings i have still some comments
First. The instructions ask to map with Maxar imagery. Rather new. You mapped from a nearly 10 year old Bing imager, Please check that before you start mapping.
Tray to avoid to connect nodes of buildings to each other or to other objects like highways and area nodes.
On attachted webpage you can see how you mapped and the corrections which had to be made, See the legend for more info.

Hello Lorikent
Thanks for mapping on this project
because you are a beginner mapper, we pay extra attention to new mappers work to see if they comply with the instructions and the quality requirements of HOTOSM.

You are quite productive, but that is accompanied by inaccurate mapping.
In general, you should check the offset. The large buildings across the railway line were mapped in 2015 and can serve as a reference for the offset. Now the buildings you mapped are a bit next to the right place, please note this for next mappings
The brews you've mauled are hardly squared.
Don't forget to make each building square with the
Q key in iDeditor.

Hello. Thanks for mapping here.
Your mapping has been reviewed to check if they comply with the requirements and quality issues of HOTOSM
A few remarks.
Please square all rectangular buildings you map with the Q key in iD editor in future mappings. You can also keep the Q key pressed down and select the buildings each after each other (except the round buildings) You squared none.
Don't let nodes of buildings connect to other objects, like buildings, highways and area nodes.
Sometimes rooflines are hidden by overhanging trees. Please extrapolate the line of the roof in that cases
Your mappings are rather precise, when you square them next mapping they will be very good.

Best regards and keep mapping

Hello. Thanks for mapping. You mapped quite a number of buildings and your mappings are quite good. Great!

Please square all rectangular buildings you map with the Q key in iD editor in future mappings. You can also keep the Q key pressed down and select the buildings each after each other
You missed 19 buildings which still had to be squared.

Hello. Thanks for mapping here.
You are a beginner mapper so we pay more attention your mappings and the quality.
Your mappings are rather accurate. Great !
please pay more attention on squaring of the buildings

Please square all rectangular buildings you map with the Q key in iD editor in future mappings. You can also keep the Q key pressed down and select the buildings each after each other (except the round buildings) You mapped 57 buildings here of which 15 were not squared.

Best regards

Hello Eusebiw .

Thanks for mapping on this project.
First of all: Never mark a task as complete mapped when there are still buildings to be mapped. (You noticed them, see your remark on the TM3 comment). In that case, just click the stop mapping button

We noticed that you are a beginner mapper and we pay more attention on their work to be sure their mappings are in line with the requirements and fulfils the quality rules.

You mapped quite a lot of buildings. Great !
I noticed that you mapped also objects which are no buildings. Please keep yourself to the instructions. Just buildings!
Please map all! building on the task you are working on. This means that other mappers don't have to go over it again.

Do not include the shadow of a building into your mappings. The dark/black spot beneath a building. It indicates whether an object is above ground level or not

Please square all rectangular buildings you map with the Q key in iD editor in future mappings. You can also keep the Q key pressed down and select the buildings each after each other (except the round buildings) You did not square 53 out of 93 mapped buildings.

Sometimes there seems to be a kink in the middle of a roofline at the height of the ridge in the roof when it's a gable roof.
This is caused by the angle at which a satellite image was made. You can simply map this as a rectangular (4 nodes) roof.
Avoid to connect nodes of buildings to other objects, like highways or areas of any kind. (even other buildings)
Best regard and keep mapping

Hello MS Bri
Please stop immediately with the way you map buildings
I understand that you are a new mapper, but first try to understand how to map before mapping like this. Your mappings are very inaccurate and far away from what HOTSM expect from mappers.
Sorry we have to stop you. Correcting your work cost so much time what we can better use for other jobs.
See this page as a reference for your mappings.
https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=75703883
The buildings are quite rectangular on the image. btw. Use the imagery which comes with the project or the MAXAR P or Maxar std imagery.
Also do not delete the hashtags. They are important for the project. (that is where you mentioned 'Mapped 16 buildings" Just write behind those hastags,

Hi. Are you aware how tall buildings have to be mapped and positioned on their footprints? In the centre of some cities are rather tall buildings as well as on this task which are bad mapped and not shifted to their footprint. see the method shown in the video (see link ) I will refer to a Youtube video of Bigardot where he explains how to map these.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAPiGntG6fs
This video is made for JOSM, but in ID editor you can use it as well. Best regards

Hi. Thanks for your reaction.
The tile next to this one is not listed as a task which can be selected. There is a bug in the system. Nothing to do with your work.

about validation.
Indeed this is a buildings only project. But that includes to solve issues which comes up when highways crossing buildings or connects with nodes of a building.
Connecting buildings to other objects or landuse, areas etc are always errors which has to be solved. The validation tool shows all kind of errors. In this project only the building related errors should be solved.
About squaring. Squared buildings are a quality item for HOTOSM and need attention. When you have the scripting tool to look for non squared items it makes your work easier.
In iDeditor the non squared buildings are flagged as well (when they are rather close to the 90 degr angle) So mappers have to be trained to solve them before uploading.
Anyhow thanks for your contribution as a validator. There is a huge shortage on validators.
There are training sessions for new validators and also quite a lot of documents and videos.
Are you on Slack? HOT OSM has several channels where you can get information or ask for help. Let me know .(I assisted quite a number of new validators to improve their skills)
Best regards

Hello. Thanks for mapping here.
a request. Please square the buildings you've mapped.
You mapped quite a lot of buildings here, 258 but, you hardly squared buildings Just 10 of them. Also pay more attention on correct (accurate following the outlines of a building) mapping. Also extrapolate the rooflines of a building when they are hidden by trees,
Did you go through these pages ?

Hi Miroslav Suchý
I have a remark on your validation work on this task.
I would check the empty field on the right side of the task you've validated and did a validation check on this task (28)
You did not solve the issues which were reported, like roads crossing buildings, squaring buildings.
Validating means that you solve the common issues as mentioned. We ( validators) are the last check to deliver quality work.
Would you be so king to go over this task again
Thanks
Frans S (sr validator)
