"When in Rome, do as the Romans do", dus in Friesland taggen we Friese namen en Friese Wikipedia artikelen :)

Hello pharmacy2,

Please explain how this edit and other edits are disruptive. At first glance Michael's work looks OK to me.

Great job, ExoMal! How did you change the query, is there anything I can learn?

Thank you :)

Hi there! In the future, could you please skip the brochure-style descriptions? They are subjective and don't add value to OSM.

Hi! Thanks for letting me know. I checked, and most of these reservoirs probably don't exist. I already deleted a bunch of them before and I simply retagged the rest, including this one. I just fixed this case and a few others here: osm.org/changeset/137631347

Feel free to remove data in this area that you can't verify, because there is a lot that is either outdated or outright wrong.

Hello. I have just reverted matt310's changesets in osm.org/changeset/137623209 and osm.org/changeset/137623219. Any import of this scale should follow the import guidelines before it is uploaded to OSM.

Hoi Padvinder,

Mvg,
Casper

Hi! I fixed a few more tags here. description=* tags with text from a brochure aren't good map data, so I removed it.

Thanks for the update

137254417 about 2 years ago

@Poliakoff Have all relevant changesets been reverted? Asphodel made a lot of changesets like this one.

137254417 about 2 years ago

Hello Asphodel,

Could you please write more informative changeset comments? Then other mappers can understand better what you are doing.

See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for the relevant guideline.

Casper

Hi there. What is Mississippi 811, Inc? The object you mapped here is missing a main feature tag, see osm.wiki/Map_Features for options.

Please refrain from “disaster tourism” mapping like this. The Ukrainian community is perfectly capable of recording destruction themselves where it is deemed useful. There’s no need for people from other parts of the world to race to be the first to translate their TV news into Ukraine mapping.

Hi nandini21,

Here you changed the boundary of Moranhat in such a way that it became completely flooded. Since that was probably not your intention, I have taken the liberty to revert this change.

With that said, welcome to OSM. If you need help with edits, feel free to join one of the many contact channels, which are listed here: osm.wiki/Contact_channels

Happy mapping!

Casper

Hi B20, and thank you for your positive response. The current policy seems to be that most active Ukrainian mappers stay well clear of eastern Ukraine in general, probably because of the guideline I mentioned previously.

On the topic of how to help the Ukrainians with data collection, I suggest that you visit their Telegram channel or other contact channels, which are listed on this page: osm.wiki/List_of_OSM_centric_Telegram_accounts#Europe

Casper
