136977902 | about 2 years ago | Hello. Please write more informative changeset comments so other mappers can understand what you are doing. See osm.wiki/Uk:%D0%A1%D1%82%D0%B2%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BD%D1%8F_%D0%B3%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%85_%D0%BE%D0%BF%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%96%D0%B2_%D0%BD%D0%B0%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%96%D0%B2_%D0%B7%D0%BC%D1%96%D0%BD for the relevant guideline. |
136751966 | about 2 years ago | Hello. I reverted this changeset in osm.org/changeset/137009603 because it is in conflict with osm.wiki/Russian%E2%80%93Ukrainian_war and osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments. Please comply with these guidelines in future edits. |
137008439 | about 2 years ago | Hello. I reverted this changeset in osm.org/changeset/137009507. Please comply with osm.wiki/Russian%E2%80%93Ukrainian_war |
136424481 | about 2 years ago | Hello trofimich, The Ukrainian OSM community urges us not to edit the map of Ukraine during the war. Please refrain from mapping in this area until the war is over. You can find the relevant guideline here: osm.wiki/Russian%E2%80%93Ukrainian_war |
136246541 | about 2 years ago | The Ukrainian community considers all map changes in the country, especially near war zones, to be sensitive data. This could have been a different story if you were mapping near the Polish border, but updating frontline cities during the ongoing war is very much in conflict with the guidelines set by the Ukrainian OSM community. |
136386187 | about 2 years ago | Hi flaktack. Thanks for adding these details. FYI - the level=0 tag is redundant, so please don't bother adding it, especially not in outdoor areas. |
136246541 | about 2 years ago | Hello. The Ukrainian OSM community urges us not to edit the map of Ukraine during the ongoing war in the country, specifically in and around war zones. Please stop mapping here. See osm.wiki/Russian%E2%80%93Ukrainian_war for the relevant guideline. |
136231978 | about 2 years ago | Is this an address that customers can visit, or is this an online-only business? Also, please see the Wiki documentation for the correct syntax of opening hours in OSM. |
136234191 | about 2 years ago | Hi. Are you sure that the company is located in the middle of the park? |
128014885 | about 2 years ago | Hoi Kogacarlo, Waarom heb je een duplicaat gemaakt van osm.org/way/951750296 ? |
134895531 | over 2 years ago | I re-read osm.wiki/Limitations_on_mapping_private_information#Who_has_a_Right_to_Privacy? and it seems you're right. My bad. |
82113110 | over 2 years ago | Address tags are wrong here either way, because bus stops shouldn't appear in address databases and no postman (or woman) will deliver mail to a bus stop. |
134895531 | over 2 years ago | See also osm.wiki/Proposed_features/Relation:person_(rewrite) |
82113110 | over 2 years ago | 1.35% is quite insignificant. Tagging the street explicitly is also redundant, because the bus stop already has a spatial relation with the nearest street. |
82113110 | over 2 years ago | Hi. Why does osm.org/node/3048004342 have addr:street tags? |
131039069 | over 2 years ago | That Wiki page you're citing states: "GOST 7.67 is GOST standard for country codes and codes of Russian federal subjects (regions)." This may include Crimea under the OSMF's decision from 2014, but I don't understand how these codes are relevant for other regions in Ukraine. Following SomeoneElse's statement in https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/mapping-activities-in-active-war-zones-in-ukraine/7221/36, I think we should follow the local (Ukrainian) community. |
131039069 | over 2 years ago | "it's a ref:* namespace that you can skip in your algorithms, it takes up almost no space and doesn't violate osm rules." This is no reason to have data in OSM. I can add "Friendly_Ghost:ref=*" to all objects I'm interested in, and no one will like that either. What do these ref:ru tags even mean? |
133616553 | over 2 years ago | You're welcome. If you look at the history of osm.org/way/679622365 you see that the aerodrome has been this way for most of the time. Making it a multipolygon was probably a mistake by JB956. |
133544673 | over 2 years ago | You're welcome. You know, "We off" still doesn't say anything about when the place is open and most apps and websites won't recognise "We off" as "open on Thursday to Tuesday". It's better to have opening hours like "Th-Tu 09:00-17:00; We off" (or whatever timestamps are applicable). |
129166812 | over 2 years ago | Hello. Is osm.org/node/3368129640 closed or did you mean "closed on Wednesdays"? |
