Un voyage de 10 jours en Malaisie, et pas une seule trace GPS !
Bien sûr, j'ai ajouté mon GPS à mon paquetage avant le départ et avec une poignée de piles. Mais dans une poche un peu trop accessible de mon sac à dos destiné à aller en soute. Résultat, plus de GPS à l'arrivée. Le personnel des aéroports n'est pas toujours sûr, donc planquez bien votre matériel ou gardez-le avec vous. Mon GPS était un Holux M-241 (un simple data logger), on le prend facilement pour un lecteur MP3. Et pour un voleur peu inspiré de parcourir le monde, il finira sans doute à la poubelle.

C'est vraiment rageant quand je découvre maintenant tous les lieux non-cartographiés que j'ai visités. Heureusement, ce voyage en Malaisie était super et les îles fantastiques ! Je vous conseille vivement d'aller y faire un peu de plongée.

I noticed a wrong way added in Bangalore/India (long random way added by a new user 'Kishore': way #33437870). I sent him an email with no reply till now.

In trying to delete this way in Potlatch, it says: "The way has already been deleted". Which is wrong if I disconnect and log on again: the way is still there. Any suggestion ?

And is is possible to see the list of changes made by this user ? In case anything needs to be reverted.

I went to Hampi on vacation and was really happy to tag many temples in the area. I really recommend to visit this place! No other activity has been seen there since I've started mapping.

The temples were easy to tag, but I've also tagged many monuments as historic=ruins because I couldn't find any other appropriate tag. These monuments are historic, sometimes temples but no more used, and towers, stables, common buildings. I am not satisfied with this choice (the ruins tag), so you have a better option, please advise.

Moreover, the tag historic=ruins is not displayed on the OSM map (with Mapnik). Then the map does not reflect the high density of monuments stored on the OSM server.
