Kīpahulu

於 2009年十一月25日 由 IcycleEnglish發表。

The Kīpahulu area is a remote outpost of the Haleakalā National Park, beyond Hāna, and famous for it's "Seven Sacred Pools", more properly known as ʻOheʻo Gulch.

I spent my second night of camping at the newly reopened campsite here. While here I hiked a small portion of the extensive trail network.

My mapping efforts today include the portion of the trail network that I hiked, most of the major manmade features in this part of the park, and most of the major natural water features.

It is noteworthy that this park has no potable water available. Is there any convention for noting such a fact for a campsite. Perhaps "water=no"?
