I went along the unpaved track starting at D2 and ending at D947 by bike. Just curious, but on which basis did you set the access tag to no? I didn't see any signposts or gates limiting the access for cyclists or by foot.

Hi, are there any updates on this issue. Can the access be set to 'private'. I received below remark from on of the owners of the parcels which suggests the access is not allowed any more and will also be impossible: "Bonjour, Je suis propriétaire d'un chemin privé à l'arrière de mon jardin sur lequel vous avez indiqué "chemin du Peiffeschof" . Avec l'autre proprétaire, Monsieur Smeets, nous avons entrepris des démarches auprès de la commune d'Arlon qui a validé nos droits. Pour ne plus avoir de passage sur cette partie privée, nous avons placé un portail ( qui figure sur votre carte plus ou moins à la bonne place) d'un côté et M. Smeets mettra prochainement une barrière côté avenue de Mersch.
Le chemin du Peiffeschof passait en parallèle de notre partie privée et vient d'être déclassé par la commune il y a quelques mois. D'où la confusion sur de nombreuses cartes. Suite à trop de nuisances, nous n'autorisons plus ni les promeneurs ni les cyclistes et encore moins les autos. Merci de rectifier vos cartes."

Thank you for your input. Aren't there a lot of paths in Belgium without these tags which are not accesible by bike? From the point of view of a routing engine I am somewhat hesitant to allow all paths in Belgium for bicycle en hiking route suggestions. But maybe I am biased by all the remarks I received from end-users of our application.
