164578388 | 2 месяца назад | Small comment: Even though some label is written in ALL CAPS on a board, that doesn't mean it's proper name is written in the same. But I see you're not local, so I understand it's more difficult for you to determine what has to be caps, and what is just styling. Anyway, thanks for adding a lot of details! |

155349686 | около 1 года назад | Whoops thanks! The danger of autocomplete while mapping... |
59781753 | более 1 года назад | No, thank you and the others for fixing all the issues! I must apologise for having put in so many notes and then not fixing them myself afterwards. |
59781753 | более 1 года назад | I removed the outdated camera from the map |

143384229 | более 1 года назад | Hi Johan, thanks for mapping footpaths! But please remember to connect these to the rest of the infrastructure at all ends and intersections. Right now, these footpaths only have one connection to the road network, meaning the other paths are basically dead-end paths and can't be used for routing. |
141063003 | почти 2 года назад | Hi Simon, I removed the cycling ways you put in here. These aren't separate cycling ways but cycling lanes on the road surface, and these are normally added with cycleway=lane on the main road. |
86029398 | более 3 лет назад | I can see that some of Mobit's 35 own stores can be labelled as phone shops, while others are just offices. But being a reseller of a phone supplier (which Mobit isn't even) doesn't make a shop a phone store of course. Many stores have several suppliers. Mass edits like this one are generally not encouraged on OpenStreetMap, as it's clearly difficult to validate the correctness of the tags. |
86029398 | более 3 лет назад | Hi, in this changeset you changed a number of computer- and electronics-stores to be specifically phone-stores. Could you provide some information about why? It doesn't seem correct to me... |
14534830 | почти 4 года назад | Very good question. Is a miniature building still a building? What about a miniature train track, or a miniature bridge? And if not, at what scale does that change? I don't have a good answer really, and I think I just continued what I had seen done with other miniature objects. But I do agree on current thoughts that adding the amenity tag was wrong. |
102629084 | около 4 лет назад | Hi Fennecus, could you inform me what the reasoning is for removing drawn sidewalks (which offer a higher level of detail) and replace them with sidewalk attributes (a lower level of detail)? |
94517056 | около 4 лет назад | Hi Martials, thanks for the contributions. One small note: a traffic calming island is area in between two lanes where pedestrians can wait while crossing the road. (It's part of a pedestrian crossing.) It's not the area in the middle of a roundabout. |
41674626 | около 4 лет назад | Hi, could you please provide a proper source for this information? So that it is possible to verify if these routes are still correct? |
95367230 | около 4 лет назад | Hi Martials! I am removing the cycle lanes on Sorgenfriveien. We don't draw separate cycle lanes when they are part of the road surface. Instead we use the cycleway=lane tag on the road itself. |
94108618 | около 4 лет назад | Hi Martials, I see that you removed the highway=pedestrian tag from Torget. Was that with reason or by accident? |
86743184 | около 5 лет назад | Yeah, these are not power stations for charging your car, but regular domestic sockets in the wall, can be used for charging your phone or computer if you're low on power. Many public and semi-public indoor spaces have them, available for public use but not clearly signed. What would you suggest for a top-level tag in this case? |
86743184 | около 5 лет назад | "... that would leave a node withOUT tags...", sorry for the confusing typo. |
86743184 | около 5 лет назад | I'm not sure if you are familiar with the socket tags? The tag format is socket:<type> = <count>. With this format, if one is not certain about either the socket type or the number of sockets, it is not possible to add the tag. And since this is the only tag, that would leave a node with tags, which is not usable either. That is why I used the generic type value, and "yes" for count. Do you have a better solution for tagging sockets? |
