Kwa Tanzania bado sana suala la ramani halionekani kuwa muhimu hasa kwa wanajamii wa jamii duni kama Tandale, Manzese, (baadhi tu ya viyunga vya jiji la Dar es salaam ambovyo wanaishi watu duni). ila kama elimu ya ramani itazidi kutolewa na umuhimu wake kuonekana katika utoaji wa huduma basi itasaidiwa kujenga kujitambua kwa wanajamii hasa wa mijini kuliko na uhaba wa huduma muhimu kama maji na kusambaa kwa taka ngumu na laini kama ilivyo manzese, Tandale, Tabata na kwingine kwingi katika hili jiji la Dar es salaam

In order to produce good quality map lay out as an output you better transform your shepfile.layers to GIS quantum 1.7 version and from there it can be taken to Arc GIS 9.2 and then you make it the way you wish it to be so far as good quality map is shown by its output to the users of that map.

Kazi kubbwa ilikua ni kukusanya taarifa kwa GPS kisha kuziingiza taarifa zilizokosekana (missed informations) Katika ramani inayoandaliwa ya tandale ndani ya mtaa wa Muhalitani. taarifa zenyewe ni kama VYOO, (TOILETS), Maduka (shops and phermacies), vinjia vidogo vidogo (Footpaths), na taarifa muhimu nyinginezo.

major tasks were contiuing with map edditing and introduction of tandale blog on which informations about tandale can be uploaded.(tandale.ramantanzania.org/ushahidi. Also collection of informations on the streets

Shughuli kubwa hii leo ilikua ni kutresi nyumba na footpats ktk eneo la Muhalitani. njia zimeingizwa kwa umakini pamoja na baadhi ya majengo kama Msikiti na makazi ya watu.

Bado tunaendelea ns ku update(kuifanya ya kisasa) raman ya tandale mtaa wa Muhalitani.

GPS points were picked yesterday through walking and marking of points with GPS. Both waypoints and tracks were taken. So today I have traced the way points, points like Muhalitan Magharibi Primary School and other biuldings also trucks like Kiboko stream and footpaths based on the satelite image which shows how the area is.
