67630672 | over 6 years ago | So this doesn't only generate extra useless data but makes it more complicated to add new elements too for other contributors. |
67630672 | over 6 years ago | I'm talking about this osm.org/way/673462961/history |
67630672 | over 6 years ago | Hi! Can you explain me why did you disconnect the elements from each other, thus generating extra nodes/data for no reason? |
70137112 | over 6 years ago | + few tag corrections, merged equal elements |
42717130 | over 6 years ago | Hello! In terms of precision for ways that cannot be seen, for example because of trees, please make sure you check and compare several sources. You had a bit straightened the path and placed it lower on the hill. It's important to be precise as close as possible to reality so that distance and elevations are as close as possible accurate and do not deceive users. Thanks! |
69816184 | over 6 years ago | Do not place information boards or for example other features like benches on the way. You had placed it on this crossing: osm.org/node/826649080/history |
69816014 | over 6 years ago | Also the ford features, since the way doesn't cross anymore the stream, i guess we can erase it, I did so. |
69815912 | over 6 years ago | Hello! Great that you fixed this! :) Please check if there is a "fixme" or "note" tag and delete it if you fixed the problem(s) written in those tags. I will update it. Thanks! |
60976765 | over 6 years ago | Hi! Corrected the relation!
Changeset:
Thanks for pointing out. |
55113945 | over 6 years ago | shift+h in JOSM* |
55113945 | over 6 years ago | I admit i got impulsive, sorry! It was late, i was tired and i was fed up of seeing incorrect tags. I thought i had scrolled down after having hit shift+h to see the history but i was so eager to get rid of this. |
55113945 | over 6 years ago |
I will correct these |
55113945 | over 6 years ago | Or this way: osm.org/way/106350447/ |
55113945 | over 6 years ago | Please, respect the tags! Do not deceive all the people who are using OSM's data! A "highway=path" is most basic way for one person or bicycle or horse a like a single trail or in urban areas a footway or sidewalk. A "highway=track" is a non maintained rough way which is accessible for 4 wheeled vehicles! Like this way you tagged: osm.org/way/106350051/ If you do not respect what has been adopted in OSM's Wiki, i will report you. |
65006194 | over 6 years ago | Hi! There is something not right with the process you use to edit MP on Potlatch. It occured several times that you deleted the "type=multipolygon" tag from the relation, you put the area tag on the outer way and link the relation to the relation itself. Just letting you know to avoid further issues. :) I've corrected. |
61693770 | over 6 years ago | Hello! What is this exactly? osm.org/node/5834911886 The tag "tourism=attraction" is very general and should always be used with other specific tags to define properly the element. |
69452579 | over 6 years ago | Teufelsschlucht and surroundings still needs many corrections |
69397031 | over 6 years ago | + new elements, tag corrections |
65969550 | over 6 years ago | Even in our Quartier Européen, there are mixed in hotels, concert hall, swimming pool.... |
65969550 | over 6 years ago | It does mean something. It helps community to decide on how to use certain elements. :) For Wayside crosses, the tag exists since 2009, there are 104573 elements, hence adopted "de facto". For Smoking_area, the tag is fairly new, only 969+207 elements, not really widely adopted (only 1 in Luxembourg). Well, there are indeed some big areas where there are only governmental offices but it happens often also that they are mixed with business offices... The node or building help already to identify where the office is. I would just keep it simple and use "landuse=commercial" and make sure there is something to identify the location of governmental office. The "commercial" terminology doesn't seem fitting, albeit... all governments have also commercial affairs... |
