Thanks for fixing! But please fill all the information I noted to the object and species:wikidata instead of wikidata.

Hey, please be aware of the difference of water canal and roads: osm.org/way/928031865 is a canal not a residential road. thanks. I fixed it

Hey, thanks for contributing place names in this area. It would be nice if you could fix them all to the right tag > place=village or =hamlet. You should not add a village with natural=hot_spring. See osm.wiki/Tag:place%3Dvillage instead of osm.wiki/Tag:natural=hot%20spring

Is that so? Is there something explained what exactly not to use?

143852747 over 1 year ago

Not on holidays ;) and yes I would but through the app I now where I spotted it and being local for a second of a drive so it has to be done fastly. Notes takes more time if you want to add or fix poi’s

143848826 over 1 year ago

I didn’t. But thanks. Through organic maps it’s not possible to add a specific note for every feature I added but yes I will fix them later. I know that, already since years when mapsme started that these apps are not perfect but sometimes like on a car trip it’s fast editing details but without precision

No but on the move in a bus you cannot draw rice crops right? So I will change that later and yes under Touristic point of view rice farmland is like a touristic site in thailand . I will fix that after SOTM Asia

Thanks for your quality watch out. I used organic maps app so I know I have to review my fast (in a bus) edits later. Actually there is SOTM Asia so please be patient. Also in the coming days. Thanks. I will correct them all. Especially there is no Tag for the shop type so a name will be deleted soon (give me time please)

Hi guys, could you please be patient? I just logged in newly in organic app and all the previously added stuff was newly synchronized. I will go back to them all soon. But right now there is SOTM Asia so it’s not possible I can look after it right now👍

I did not use any data of this service. I wrote, it just indicates visually where areas could be inhabitated. So you put GHSL data into your own GIS (like QGIS), look around where is light and than check osm if there is really something inhabitated. Its just coincidentally picked by flashy areas. Its called adventure to find something what is not on the map. Is that wrong just to explore with other open data your next place to map? How do you pick where you map?

A web map service, like from GHSL, which shows where settlements are, is useful to look for missing residential areas.

Hello, thanks for asking. You are totally right. According to ISO 3166-2 alpha 3 it is the abbreviation for these two countries. According to the a simple humanic search in the world wide web "GHSL EC" is 100% related to https://ghsl.jrc.ec.europa.eu/ Could you provide a list of allowed abbreviations for changeset description?
Thanks

Hello,
I funnily asked chatgpt about your question, because you might understand it better than my previous answer about ISO-3166. Chatgpt answered:
In the context of OpenStreetMap, #LBY likely refers to Libya, which is a country code or ISO Alpha-3 code assigned to Libya according to the ISO 3166-1 standard. In OpenStreetMap, using the country code is a common practice to uniquely identify and tag features from different countries. So, #LBY may be used to tag various map features in Libya or to refer to projects or discussions related to mapping activities in Libya. Greetings

Is there any knowledge why the OSM in this area is different than the official data by UZB gov? (json in the github repo, origin updated date 8/2022 from https://revolutionarygis.wordpress.com/2023/04/19/%d0%b4%d0%b0%d0%bd%d0%bd%d1%8b%d0%b5-%d0%be%d0%b1-%d0%b0%d0%b4%d0%bc%d0%b8%d0%bd%d0%b8%d1%81%d1%82%d1%80%d0%b0%d1%82%d0%b8%d0%b2%d0%bd%d0%be-%d1%82%d0%b5%d1%80%d1%80%d0%b8%d1%82%d0%be%d1%80%d0%b8/ via https://data.egov.uz/rus/data/60fb9a902a2e256d868e825c)

Sorry but, I can´t see any edit by me to the border according to osmcha. Could you provide information where there was a change? thx

Hi, thanks for notifying myself. You are right, I should look more over these minor things. Sometimes I focused more on a different priority when editing. Do you have an example of the mentioned road issue? thanks
