100124916 | over 4 years ago | Hi there Surely you had a plan, a case of being interrupted probably, with this building, showing a yellow bubble and the '1 member relation' multipolygon at Toti 41. Looks like an abode with 2 different levels.Taking antihistamines against the hands on itch to 'adjust' it (Pescara looked so clean in Osmose on the building front ;O)))

87514734 | over 4 years ago | HI, gave this building at V.Venezia a once over and next door tagged Via Puglie (or should it be Puglia(?), albeit someone painted Puglie on the wall and marked it tunnel=building_passage... someone caused the buildings float at layer=1 ;O))).

99953435 | over 4 years ago | Hi, If you insist in doing multi country edits in single change sets, frowned upon by the mapping community, please do the commentary in English. Here in Italy and over in the Maldives German is not a frequently spoken tongue. TIA |
97241352 | over 4 years ago | Hi FinixFighter, Took the liberty to address this building you created 2 months ago at Solferino. Added levels, heights etc and a solar panel assembly and put it in a relation. I've called the solar a 'member' in the role. Not tried that one before but think it's not really the a building part. We'll see. The outline should show up in a few days, Carto is very slow to update the image render. Right now only a very small piece of the ground floor shows. I've seen solar render in a slightly different hue on other buildings I've done with this, the positve feedback a mapper needs, don't we :O)))
PS, the wiki says about roles "A role is an optional textual field describing the function of a member of the relation", i.e it really has no render or 3D impact, supposedly, and use just for easy reference as to what the part represents. Fingers crossed. |
99840139 | over 4 years ago | Please please don't touch any roundabout you claim to be fixing and then break because you don't see the wider implications. You cant just go merging segmented junctions. It was done for a reason. Took 24 hours for the first domino to fall "Roundabout shortcut

94302134 | over 4 years ago | Hey there Larshei. Next time you go mapping areas, please make sure that where there are touching areas, the nodes of one area that touch on the other turn grey in ID editor view. If 3 areas touch drag the node again to ensure all 3 nodes connect. I closed 100s at the Mariendal/MTB track area. In short, if a node is white between e.g. forest and grass it means there is no connection. Many thanks in advance. |
99855329 | over 4 years ago | Via Forca Caruso WAS drawn absolutely perfectly 4 years ago. Took a minute to adjust, the old route still there, just more asphalt. Only needed a 30 second visit of other available imagery to resolve. So much for my grand fixme. |
98804728 | over 4 years ago | If you want to have a laugh, the grand planners and executors put up a big pompous billboard about their Strada Pendolo project at the Lago Campotosto side for the grand sum of 3.5 million and removed the fencing again, announcing that work was to start on 20.02.2021 (that is last Saturday). On the Rio Sparto side they have torn up everything, set the pedestrian area /basketball pitch as staging point and are doing big sewer reconstruction. Come normale, Pescarese. New cycle track on Viale Pineta has been blocked for the past 12 months. The only improvement will be that it's going to be quicker to get to jail and the courthouse from north to south side, by about 2 minutes. What a mess. |
99849928 | over 4 years ago | Me again, you could have retagged it as a pedestrian area, spiff it up with some green, a residential garden, probably some playground tools too... I come by on the SS16 now and then but never actually looked in. It was on my long list of things to revisit, but be my guest upscale the appearance.

99840139 | over 4 years ago | A courtyard osm.wiki/Proposed_features/courtyard , an area 'fully' enclosed by buildings at the horizon line. "A courtyard is an area open to the sky and horizontally (completely or to the most part) enclosed by buildings." Don't think the one you tagged so is one. |
99837460 | over 4 years ago | Thx, I give your tool a swirl in the near future. As said the destination signs in navigators are brilliant. You woosh by a sign or the view is obstructed by a brumi in the right lane and miss it, the display giving assurance you're still on the right track and honestly, cant say I've seen it being used in Italy by any mapper (probably because my antenna was not tuned in).

99837460 | over 4 years ago | Something I've been doing the last few weeks, destinations tagging (love it showing in Mapfactor Navigator), except where lanes are involved. Leading by example, now I know how to add destinations to lanes (effectively the same as directions on lanes). If you have a tip or pointer how to do this on 1 lane and multilane roundabout well appreciated. Live examples far exceed in value to the often in, to me, franglish written wikis.

99652178 | over 4 years ago | You can set street complete to report immediately. Also there is an 'upload now' button, that is that's the tablet version i'm running, the same release as you have showing in the change sets, 30.1. |
99660706 | over 4 years ago | ID wizards are far, FAR from perfect, the classic many falling for the access=yes or =permissive etc. That means everything and everyone. Just not use that tag or make it conditional. Rather specify who/what is/is not allowed, the bicycle, pedestrian signs at start of motorway entrances e.g. Personally I dont care until an error message pops up or like what happened on the TI's at Ponte Flaiano. BTW, note the new(to me) code on roads that have a physically separately mapped cyclepaths (raised/curb). Just applied it to the street along the airport. bicycle=use_sidepath and parts of lungomare, why has highly inconsistent signing. Only when the round blue cyclepath signs show up (theoretically obligatory use). Rules per country are under development. Not to be used when there is an explicit bicycle=no sign. Read the wiki for the ins/outs ciao |
99461047 | over 4 years ago | Seems your : > ; did indeed do the trick. Learned again something new today how you can include and then partially exclude again. Anyway OSM does not care which day of the week a series starts so the Streetcomplete solution of Gio-Mar aka Th-Tu is good too, after all the Arab week starts on Sunday. More ways to skin the cat.

99541579 | over 4 years ago | Hallo Carlo, Yesterday I fixed a coding typo you made 3 days ago from sourece:ref to source:ref. The QA machine is now complaining that no ref = .... has been provided: "missing tag
TIA |
99652178 | over 4 years ago | Hi there Yu made several change sets with seemingly just 2 locations, somewhere in Scandinavia and in Japan. By putting the 2 in 1 set you've told every mapper between those longitude/latitude. Please don't do that, split the sets, Ideally by location, but not larger than a country. TIA |
99660706 | over 4 years ago | Hi You may want to read the wiki and visit the discussion over at the OSM help forum. The area:highway=traffic_island or traffic_calming is 100% correct. osm.wiki/Key:area:highway, so unless you have something which is not 'mapping for renderer' STOP change the coding.
