Well, I’ve just discovered that anybody can edit like it’s wikipedia. So instead of doing homework, I’ve spent several hours fixing little things in my hometown. This is fun.

Yeah, you can do it on your phone, PC, work, school, home….
I suggest you learn more about the editors osm.wiki/Editors (JOSM, iD…)

And, if you want some help via AI to add buildings: osm.wiki/Rapid

It really is (fun), and it’s great that you think so. Once there is nothing left to do in your hometown, you can follow Wat Mildon’s bot @SmallTownUSA@en.osm.town to take you all over the US to under-mapped places.
