now im uploading these areas..
Rock Creek, BC is in there too. Thats where the Gold Rush way real big, back in the 1800's. .. Many towns along the KVR railway (which is now the Trans Canada Trail) have gone 'extinct' and all the remains is a water tower.
So when you see names of towns on an old map. Some of them dont exist. .. or its on 1 farmers field.
There are many spots where you can still see the Octagon shape of the Water towers, but i cant tell where exactly those were.. as the GPS tracks could have been from me stopping anywhere :)
Highway=Road
and
Highway=Path is what ill be marking these as.
.. hey, what were doing here is like setting railway tracks across the planet, like they did back in the early 1800's in explorations. ... but now 200 years later, were working on this truely international collaboration project... and we all get to see the Blue Prints as the Architect, engineer, City Planner etc. has them on the table.
cool.
I always thought autoCad Was rather booring... creating a drawing which someone else already started.
Hopefully in the next few years this map will become a standard for everyone to use. ... knowone can complain about it... cause everyone can go and edit it :)
