26915223 | over 10 years ago | I won't edit that area. I only edit areas I visit or know very well. You could add notes (second from bottom black icon on the right). That will point out the changes and invite a local mapper to take a look. Give as much detail as you can. Good luck. |
26915223 | over 10 years ago | I'll revert (undo) your edit. Then I suggest you make a small edit to correct a single item and save it. When you save it make sure you add a comment so you can see the history of your changes. Making small, simple changes one at a time will help you get practice, which is all you need to get going. |

26896444 | over 10 years ago | Welcome to OSM I suspect the paths you have added as Morning Commute are not a real paths, but just the route you take. We welcome real, physical things, including routes that are publicly signed. Personal routes are not needed. Feel free to reply if you need any more information. |
26893892 | over 10 years ago | Welcome to OSM.
Please use road names (indeed any name) as it appears on a sign, except that we extend any abbreviations. |
26864390 | over 10 years ago | Welcome to OSM. I don't see why you have added garden in Arabic to a point in the recreation ground. Any edits you make are shared for everyone to see. |
26864429 | over 10 years ago | I don't see the point of adding garden in Arabic to a point in a recreation ground? Is there a garden there? Is there some Arabic feature there, or are you playing without realising your edits would be visible? |
26864418 | over 10 years ago | Please don't add junk like this to the map. All that you add is visible to everyone - it's not a private version for you. If you explain what you were trying to do I'll help, if not then I'll remove this. |
26863734 | over 10 years ago | The idea of the housename is to add the name of the house, not everything. Use name for the business name (as you have), street for the street name, city for the place name and postcode for the postcode. Usually IT folks try to be too rigorously structured, so this is a surprise :) |
26754919 | over 10 years ago | This is node is not needed, the area of the gardens already has the name on it |
26760883 | over 10 years ago | This looks like it needs some revision. Names on bridges and tunnels have overridden rail line names, length (and Length) tags are probably superfluous. Some of the names are duplicates - is that likely? |
26757554 | over 10 years ago | You have told me by email that you have deliberately edited this shop name to test my reaction to an unsurveyed edit. My reaction is that you are deliberately trying to provoke a conflict and I will not stand for that. |
26711031 | over 10 years ago | The mechanical edit policy is very clear. osm.wiki/Mechanical_Edit_Policy Mechanical edits must be discussed before they are run. I would not trust a recent change to a wiki page to base such a change on. These are often made at the whim of an individual with no discussion and no regard to any consequences. Sadly the Wiki must be used with care. |
26711031 | over 10 years ago | This looks like a mechanical edit. These *must* be discussed and agreed in advance. Was this discussed? |
26566169 | almost 11 years ago | These are not railway features they are museums. If I'm interested in green space features I extract landuse, leisure and sport features. I don't add greenspace=yes to all of those across the world to make my extract slightly easier. I will ask the data working group to revert this changeset. |
26566169 | almost 11 years ago | This looks like a global mechanical edit. Was it discussed? I think it should be reverted and both worthless and undiscussed. |
26536855 | almost 11 years ago | You seem to be adding place=farm to farms that already have names. I wonder why? |
26512389 | almost 11 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OSM. You seem to have drawn a ring around Great Whittington, but you haven't added any information about what the ring is for. This info is known as tags in OSM. What are you trying to show? |
