The change I made was to add the tag: surface=asphalt (I think). The extension of this road to Blessington has the same tags? Any suggestion as to what designation this road should have?

Many thanks for pointing there anomalies out! Must have had a whiff of something strange. Amended the tags. The UK one was actually a duplication that I did not spot was already loaded.

The tag farmland applies to cultivated land. None of this area is actively cultivated. It is grazing pasture land.

Eventually getting around to commenting on your query. Yes, this has been developed into a new walkway that now forms an exercise walking circuit. I need to further update it as it has now been lit.

Hi Dave. I have been living in this area for over 25 years and have never heard it referred to as "River Road", most likely because it runs beside, not a river but, a substantial stream. I have only ever heard of it referred to as Broe's Lane. I have no idea why it should not have been called McGuire's Lane but that is the situation as it stands!
