Gracias por colaborar en el mapeo de edificios en Málaga. Ya están mapeados casi todos los edificios del casco urbano en los distritos de Ciudad Jardín y Palma-Palmilla. También hay un buen número de edificios mapeados en otros distritos, aunque todavía queda mucho por hacer. Estamos trabajando en el mapeo de edificios del resto de barrios. Si las personas que consultan el mapa ven los edificios mapeados, seguro que se animan a colocar su negocio u otros puntos de interés de lugares que conocen. I have been using the Spanish Cadastre layer to map buildings in Ciudad Jardin (osm.org/#map=17/36.74204/-4.42001) and Palma-Palmilla (osm.org/#map=17/36.73953/-4.43008). Now I am mapping buildings in Capuchinos (osm.org/#map=18/36.73002/-4.42327). I hope soon to reach other neighbourhoods of the city. My goal is to map all the buildings in Málaga, perhaps not completely, but at least draw their outlines and locations.

Hi, Alan! If you are using JOSM, you may want to activate the Spanish Cadastre layer for mapping buildings in the "landuse=residential" areas: select Imagery >> Imagery preferences >> Imagery providers, and activate "ES: Catastro de España". It is a fantastic source for knowing the locations and outlines of the buildings.

¡Gracias por ajustar los límites de los distritos! Los límites se pueden consultar desde la página del wiki dedicada a Málaga. Los recogí todos juntos en un único lugar para poder hacer un seguimiento de sus cambios en el futuro: osm.wiki/w/index.php?title=ES:M%C3%A1laga&oldid=1464000#Distritos.2C_barrios_y_otras_entidades_singulares_de_poblaci.C3.B3n

Son datos del Ayuntamiento de Málaga, pero no coincidían en origen con los datos existentes en el mapa. Conseguí arreglar el problema del duplicado de vías en los límites exteriores del municipio, pero aún no me había puesto a ajustar los límites de los distritos a la realidad física sobre el terreno (¡buen trabajo!).

Aunque existía cierto desfase entre los datos del Ayuntamiento, la realidad física y los datos de OSM, parecía obvio que los límites de los distritos y del municipio tendrían que ajustarse de alguna forma a los accidentes naturales (creo que los datos del Ayuntamiento, aún siendo fiables, no son todo lo precisos que podrían ser).

There was a discussion in the OSM Spain forum about how to name schools, universities, etc. If you understand Spanish, see http://gis.19327.n8.nabble.com/Abreviar-nombres-de-colegios-universidades-etc-td5895234.html

In short, we prefer to use "name" for the full name of the school, and "short_name" for the abbreviated name. For example, "CEIP Nuestra Señora de Gracia" could be:

name= Colegio de Educación Infantil y Primaria Nuestra Señora de Gracia
short_name=CEIP Nuestra Señora de Gracia

Para mapear una frutería puedes usar "shop=greengrocer" (osm.wiki/ES:Tag:shop%3Dgreengrocer). También puedes mapear específicamente una hamburguesería combinando las etiquetas "amenity=fast_food" y "cuisine=burguer" (osm.wiki/ES:Tag:amenity%3Dfast_food).

He trazado de nuevo el contorno de los edificios. Las imágenes aéreas distorsionan su forma y ubicación (no te fíes), por lo que resulta mejor valerse de mapas de los mapas oficiales del Catastro para mapearlos.

También me he tomado la libertad de mapear la hamburguesería (osm.org/node/4781516926) y la frutería (osm.org/node/4781516921), respetando el nombre que tú misma les habías dado. Imagino que se trata de locales en la planta baja del edificio, así que lo correcto es mapearlos de forma independiente.

No sé exactamente dónde se ubican exactamente estos comercios. Si quieres, puedes reeditarlos de nuevo y arrastrarlos hasta el lugar aproximado que ocupan en la planta del edificio. Si tienes dudas, recuerda que siempre tienes a mano la guía del principiante: osm.wiki/ES:Gu%C3%ADa_del_principiante
