What's the source of this object?

You can't know about it just from the imagery.

What's the source of these changeset? It's not just the imagery, because you can't tell the name and other description information from just the imagery.

What is the source for this changeset? You can't know the location of this place from the Bing imagery.

What is your source for this edit?

All of your edits say "imagery_used" Bing, but it's clear that it's not possible to get the POI information like name, and type of store from the Bing imagery.

This is a large changeset. What is it that you were changing?

Hi and congrats for making your first edit to OSM!

It looks like you edited 53rd and made a blank area. I've deleted the blank area because it looked like a mistake. What was your edit to West 53rd about?

Making a new changeset isn't a problem. Changesets close after a set time, so it's fine to just make a new one.

Hi,

I see that this is your first day editing OSM. Most of your edits are good, but you created an object, node 3382963007 which is named "My Apartment". Unless the name of the building is really "My Apartment", then this should be changed.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! Congrats on making one of your first edits. Unfortunately, I don't thnk that the this path is really named "Unknown path up to forest hills park". It also doesn't seem to go anywhere. Maybe you can say more about it?

This is a great first edit!

I agree that it's ridiculous, but that's Google's assertion, and to fight against Google would be a protracted fight.

I feel really bad about needing to remove these edits, but I do. :(

California Bear- I'm sorry to have to say this but OSM can't accept information even from Google Street view due to Google's assertion of copyright over those images. You can use Mapillary for this purpose and I encourage you to do so. Unfortunately the Google Street view changes will need to be reverted. I feel bad because you have put a lot of hard work into them, but we have to be very careful regarding these kinds of copyright violations.

For your source, do you mean the Bing imagery, or Bing maps?

29057344 over 10 years ago

when you say the source here is "Street view", do you mean Google Street View?

The issue is that the changesets don't mention this- they just say "inspiration :)" as a source. National boundaries are sensitive objects and people can be upset when they're modified. The issue is (as it always has been) that if there's a process to correct them that it should be explained on the relevant changesets.

@Nankaner - I can assure you that both SomeoneElse and woodpeck were consulted before the 0-hour block was placed.

As jremillard said, all import must be vetted by the community according to the import process. I'm reverting this import now.

Also, which objects came from direct observation and which came from Google?
