Du hast schon recht, dass ich durch eine Web-Anwendung darauf aufmerksam geworden bin. Welche kann ich jetzt nicht sagen, vielleicht fällt es mir ja noch ein. Jedenfalls war ich vor Ort und hab den Stein gefunden und ihn fotografiert.

Gute Frage, ich kann es aus heutiger Sicht nicht mehr nachvollziehen. Hab es wieder als Museum getaggt.

Oh, I have now seen a difference that could have led to the misunderstanding. It could have to do with vertical and horizontal. The description of memorial=plaque says that it should be placed vertically. That wasn't so decisive for me.
If this is important, we should discuss how to solve it.
Either we expand the definition of plaque or add a new tag.
(In German, plaque is only used in connection with the dentist)

I don't think I was cheating. There is currently no definition for plate on a wiki page. On the other hand, the memorial=plaque page states that it is an error. The large number also speaks in favour of this.

pitch ist ein Spielfeld. Man kann es nicht mit einem Fußballplatz vergleichen, aber der Ball wäre dann ein Modellflugzeug und das Spielfeld in der Luft. Vielleicht könnte man die Startbahn damit meinen, aber dafür gibt es aeroway=model_runway. Meistens ist auch der Bereich für Besucher und die Tische zum Vorbereiten mit eingeschlossen.

wir benutzen inzwischen ausschließlich memorial statt memorial:type.
Und auch tourism=artwork ist nicht hilfreich.
