Das interessiert mich aber jetzt: in welchen FAQ steht, dass man Pokemon angeben soll? Hast du da mal einen Link? Sind das FAQs von OSM (die kenne ich auch nicht alle :-D) oder von PG?

Hintergrund meiner Nachfrage:
Es gibt seit einiger Zeit Teilnehmer, die bewusst unzutreffende Dinge eintragen, damit beim nächsten Datenimport ein PokéStop in ihrer Nähe ist (oder irgend so was in der Richtung). Das ist aus gutem Grund sehr verpönt und lässt hin und wieder die Gemüter hochkochen :-)

Ok, I removed them now. I hope this was intended this way by your local community. (Often, even when a community, i. e. admin_level=8, ceases to exist and is united with some peers, it continues to exist as admin_level=9, 10 or 11. But if it is not the case in your case, it is ok.)

Was it on purpose that you emptied all those relations? If the communities don't exist any longer, wouldn't it have been better to completely remove them?

This changeset "destroyed" the boundary between Ballymaconaghy and Cregagh. I repaired it, but I am not sure if the part which I added in osm.org/changeset/56109455 fixes it.

Thank you for the information. But this alone is not a reason for a non-closed admin relation.

The normal way to do this would be to have a new relation with admin_level=8 for the new, merged community and to put the old relations down to a nother admin_level (9 or 10).

As far as I can tell, this was exactly what was done in changeset osm.org/changeset/36303028.

So I don't think the "old" boundary between the villages should be removed, just "degraded" to not being a boundary between communities, but to community districts, see also osm.wiki/Tag:boundary%3Dadministrative.

This change made relation 154495 be not closed any longer. Was this intended?
