I would agree to your approach for single buildings within normal landuse. In this case the buildings are on an area marked as "brownfield" annotated with a note that all buildings are demolished except for number 144 (changeset #30504226)

Hi, I'm a local mapper from Gifhorn. The two buildings 8442018 and 607100927 in Baugebiet "Lindenhof" drawn by your changeset were demolished a year ago, but they are still visible on satellite images. Also the street line 571704933 has changed in reality and was correct until your changeset. BR Jens

Bei einigen Shops wurde amenity=shop hinzugefügt. "shop" reicht als Tag schon alleine aus. amenity=shop wäre eine Möglichkeit für Läden deren Funktion (Bäckerei, Optiker) nicht näher spezifiziert wird.
