I never realized that that didn't get updated. Thanks for fixing that.

Yeah, So the Ludwig Park name is stored in a point, is from the TIGER import. It's actually tagged as a "hamlet". I got it all fixed up now.

I'm not familiar with the editor you use, so unfortunately I can't tell you how to fix it yourself. So, I'll just fix it for myself.

Happy,
You added a name to the residential area, but I'm pretty sure that area encompasses two neighborhoods. For some thing like this it's much better to split the area into two areas, so they can each have thier own name. RIght now it's mapped as if Ludwig park is part of stonefield, when it's actually bigger.

Two things about this edit. The Kroger is indeed a Kroger Market place, they renovated and expanded it a year or two ago. Also the Kroger fuel had the shop=kiosk tag because it has a small little kiosk, like a walkup convinence store.

I see you added a ford=yes node on the sidewalk where it crosses the river. A ford is where you drive through the water, here there is a bridge, so that node is unneeded.

Why did you remove the apron area at the south end of the airport? As far as i can tell it's still an apron, although the old outline did include areas that aren't.

The buildings you traced have actually been torn down for a couple of years now. I'll add a demolished tag to them so that It's clear for anyone in the future.

When adding a crossing node, the tags should go on the node that is shared by the road, and the footway, and not where the crossing starts.

Thanks, I'll combine the two outlines into one then.

I see you got rid of the seperated ways on the protected left turn lanes in coldwater road. These were built recently, so they might not show on most imagery, but they are physically separated lanes. Here is a news article that includes a picture of one of the lanes. https://www.wane.com/news/coldwater-confusion-drivers-get-stuck-in-new-medians/1035632731

The point that you updated the name on, comes from a federal database, and many of the points that came from it have old, or incorrect data. Generally, these points can be moved to an area such as the outline that exists already. I went ahead and did that here.

I added some more descriptive tags to the chapel you added. I also was able to make the outline look better.

Is the name of the entire building the Pope John Paul II Center or is that name just for the newer part of it? Also does the name not include the word saint in it?

I've been watching your Changesets, and they all look good. This one is a bit large geographically though. It's best to split up a changeset when you have features your editing that are far away from the rest of your edits. It's also helpful if you keep a changeset relatively narrow in the types of edits you make. Neigther of these tips are manditory, but they do make it easier for other mappers to see what you did.

So, technically tagging the road with sidewalk=both, or mapping the sidewalk as a separate way are both "correct". Mapping them as a separate way is nice because it shows where the sidewalk actually is, and provides more detail. Also Since the sidewalk has a gap between itself and the road it arguably is a separate feature.

65797462 over 6 years ago

Why did you delete the sidewalk?

If you press the "s" key while the outline of a house is selected it will square up the corners and make the houses look a lot better.

For the most part this edit looks good. The one thing I see is that you tagged the crossing nodes at the start of the crossing. The tag should go on a node that is shared by both the road and the sidewalk.

I'm confused why you simplified this intersection. Isn't it better represented how it was?
