100660170 | over 4 years ago | Translated? Faculty and Students mean complete opposites. Based on the layout of the grounds, this lot is probably for faculty. Faculty would be teachers, not students. The students probably park in the large main lot, around here a large number of high school students will drive themselves to school, and they greatly outnumber the teachers. I do drive by this school frequently so I might be able to check it out in person sometime.

100589225 | over 4 years ago | Russ, This golf course no longer exists. Please don't add features to the map that are no longer there. |
100517591 | over 4 years ago | Russ, Looking at newer imagery it looks like the golf course is gone now, and there are a bunch of houses there now. I did find this article that talks about it. also I am local and kinda remember hearing about this closing a few years back. I might try and drive up that way and check it out in person this weekend, if you don't have any confirmation that it's still open

93134962 | almost 5 years ago | This is not the data being misaligned it's the imagery that is misaligned. You should check the alignment of imagery before starting an edit. This article might help: https://blog.mapbox.com/better-openstreetmap-data-with-ids-new-imagery-offset-tool-ff1906ef6c53

92634716 | almost 5 years ago | Churches and schools sharing the same grounds like this is an interesting problem. The best method I have found, and what you will find on the wiki is to tag the whole area as landuse = religious, and then put the school tags on the school itself, or if there is no way to distinguish the two, you can put the school tags on a node.

92633573 | almost 5 years ago | I see you shifted a lot of data here. most likely the imagery is not aligned properly here. The best practice for this is to offset the imagery to align with the existing data. With ID you can do this at the bottom of the imagery page.

90714141 | almost 5 years ago | The footway you added doesn't exist in the real world. I've seen many people cross the road here, but that doesn't make it a path. I will say there probably should be a sidewalk and cross walk here, but there isn't.

86611409 | about 5 years ago | Cool, Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering if it was like that, but I'm not familiar with the campus, so I figured I'd ask.

86611409 | about 5 years ago | Is that entier area the library? from the images it looks like there are three buildings.
82409750 | over 5 years ago | there unfortunately aren't agreed upon tags for something like this. It actually looks like leisure=playground might be the closest right now. osm.wiki/Proposed_features/scaled_down_streets_that_may_be_used_for_traffic_safety_education_or_as_a_type_of_a_playground
82409115 | over 5 years ago | You could go with a landuse=comercial, and name =*
82366849 | over 5 years ago | The "Guest Apartment/Condo" preset is for places you would rent while visiting somewhere. Not what you would probably think of as an apartment. In OSM tagging an apartment and a condo are the same.
82321591 | over 5 years ago | Yeah, actually the tags you used on the buildings could go on an area around the whole complex, and you can add the name to that if you have that.
82321591 | over 5 years ago | You have these apartment buildings tagged as residential land use and not as buildings.
77769185 | over 5 years ago | To add two lanes to a road, please use tags, and not add a second way when the two lanes are not physically seperated.
77023041 | over 5 years ago | It's actually the "Q" key that you want to use not the "S" key.
77022722 | over 5 years ago | I use a different editor, so I guess I missed the change, but it's actually the "Q" key that you want to use.
77021234 | over 5 years ago | Sorry, It's actually the "Q" key that you want to use.
77023041 | over 5 years ago | When tracing buildings please press the "S" key to square the buildings.
77022722 | over 5 years ago | Please remove the extra address points if you move the data to the building outline. Also if you select the outline of a shape and press the "S" key it will square the shape and give you much better results.
