The footway=sidewalk tag is meant to be used when the footpath follows the side of the road. For cases like these you should just tag the way with highway=footway.

Hi, thanks for adding this info to the map. There are a few problems with the formatting of the data though.
1) "hour" is not a valid tag, you probably mean "opening_hours", you also have the times formated wrong and can find the right formatting at osm.wiki/Key:opening_hours

2) The addr:street tag should be fully expanded, so in this case it should be "West Jefferson Boulevard"

3) The phone number should have a hyphen between the 1 and the 260.

4) You don't actually say what this place is, You just added a name. Please add tags describing the location.

I just noticed this, because a giant new green area on the map stands out. I'd never heard of this wetland, but I looked it up and found the city's info page on it, sounds pretty cool. It looks like the actual area of the "wetlands" is smaller that what you have for your outline. Also The whole area shouldn't be tagged as a natural=wetland just the parts that actually are. The full area should probably get tag as a nature reserve, but that has some slightly conflicting and confusing tagging, so I'm not going to remap this for a while. If you want to map the area a little better you should look at osm.wiki/Tag:leisure%3Dnature_reserve , osm.wiki/Tag:boundary%3Dprotected_area , and osm.wiki/Tag:natural%3Dwetland

Not that it matters for how you just mapped this, but the pond there isn't actually a reservoir. The reservoir used to be up on top of the hill, and it had a roof.

I notice you tagged the duplexes as building=yes. While this is valid, you could tag them as building=house, as it is more specific. Or even more specific would be to use the tag building=semidetached_house.

osm.wiki/Tag:building=semidetached_house
osm.wiki/Tag:building=house

That's probably because the Cycle map doesn't update very frequently. I forget how often it updates, but it's probably about once a month or so.

Overall this edit looks pretty good. There are a few places where you have continued a footpath over stairs, these should be tagged as stairs. Most of the newly traced ways you added are kinda low resolution, don't be afraid to add more nodes and make the shape more accurate. Lastly do you know if the statue, and obelisk have names to them?

This one looks mostly good, but you should also tag a "drugstore" like CVS as a shop=chemist. I know it sounds wierd, but it's a british english thing and that's what tags use.

Thanks for fixing your mistake. Most likely the operator is not Marathon here though. The operator tag is for who actually runs the station, and Gas stations are generally franchises. Could you confirm this detail?

Your edit here looks good for the most part. The only thing I see is the addr:street. The street name should be written as East Dupont Road, instead of E Dupont`. Thanks for updating this, I don't get around that part of town often.

The way that you moved the perimiter road is old, and it's been a long time since it went that way.

I'm going to guess that this is not the name for this park anymore. I know there are probably quite a few things on this campus that need to be renamed now. Honestly the whole campus could probably use a full re-survey.

I haven't mapped Crossroads in the past because I Haven't known how it should be described. You seem to understand them better, so could you look at this wiki page which I think describes the tags you should use. osm.wiki/Key:social_facility
It looks like you should probably map the whole grounds as a social_facility, and give those the name Crossroads. You should also read osm.wiki/Tag:amenity=social_facility

The footpath south of the main building that makes a bunch of triangles is mapped as a single way, and so it intersects with itself a few times, it's best if you break those into separate ways. You can do that by right-clicking on one of the nodes where it should split, and you should get a split option.

Your edits look pretty good. A couple of things though. Phone numbers should be mapped with a 1(or whatever the country code is) in the front of the rest. The addr:state should be writen in uppercase. These changes have already been made, but now you know for next time.

I see you made a lot of edits just like this one. It's great that you want to improve the connectivity of the map, but by extending the existing ways across the building you have made a new error. If you are mapping a way that goes under a roof like this one, you should split the way at both sides of the biulding outline and add a covered=yes tag.

Your edit looks good, I do have a couple of things I would like to point out though. When tracing building you can press the "s" key when the outline is selected, and this will square the corners. They look a lot better that way. Another thing is the address points. They are just there as a separate point because the buildings hadn't been traced yet, so after you add the address information to the building, you should delete the point. I had done that for some houses you mapped a different time which is why some of the houses didn't have an address node. Thanks for helping map.

I noticed you tagged some nodes with highway=crossing, at the edge of the road. The way these should be mapped is with the highway=crossing node as the node where the road and the footway intersect. You can also tag the lines from where you stopped the footways to the other side with a footway=crossing tag.

Hey Zamanry, I see that you tagged some driveways as highway=residential. That tagging is for residential streets. For a driveway you should tag it with highway=service, service=driveway, and usually access=private
