As long as you are using your local knowledge to map and not google as the source it's fine and yes welcome to OpenStreetMap! :)

I have observed that you are not adding classification (type of road) to the roads that you are adding (this changeset and osm.org/changeset/38029241). You can have a look at this wiki (osm.wiki/Key:highway#Usage) to get more information about tagging the roads and also visit http://learnosm.org/en/ to learn more about OpenStreetMap.

I found one of your edits in this area where you have added the turn-lanes(osm.org/way/346447421/history). As per the imagery the relevant tag should be `turn:lanes:forward=left| | | |right` and not `turn:lanes:forward=left|through|through|through|right`.

As per your changeset comment you have mentioned Google earth as your reference source. The road don't seem to be visible in Bing or Mapbox.

I came across your edits in this changeset. Here are few points which I would like to put across:

- The buildings are not orthogonalised (tools -> orthogonalize)
- There are duplicated nodes. You can check that using the validator and fix it.
