thanks for contributing to this project in Brasil. You assigned "building=house" to most of the buildings you added here. Unlike having local knowledge ( I think you are remote mapping) - e.g. inhabitent of the region / city, it is recommended to assign the simple and more generic "building=yes". Decision about the actual building-type can then be left to check by the local community.
Keep on mapping and supporting OSM.

En primer lugar gracias por contribuir al proyecto de inundaciones. Has mapeado contornos de edificios aquí. Usted seleccionó "building=house" para el tipo. Como creo que en realidad no es un mapeador local de la ciudad en la que contribuyó, se recomienda utilizar la etiqueta genérica "building=yes", pero no etiquetas específicas a menos que esté absolutamente seguro de ello (principio de la verdad sobre el terreno). Recuerda también cuadrar los edificios que añadas - en el editor sólo tienes que pulsar la tecla "q" cuando el objeto esté seleccionado en el editor.

At first thanks for contributing to the flooding project. You mapped building contures here. You selected "building=house" for the type. As I think you actually not a local mapper of the city where you contributed, it is recommended to use the generic tag "building=yes", but not specific tags unlike you are absolutely sure about it (principle of ground truth). Also remember to square the buildings you add - in the editor just press the "q" key when the object is selected in the editor.

Here's my feedback:
You added a highway as "highway=footway" here. The tag "footway" in OSM has a very specific meaning, implying that only pedestrians are allowed to use this way. While remote mapping it is better to use general tag. In this case a "highway=service" and "service=driveway" would be the right choice. Also do not connect highways to building contures - and remember that buildings have normally right angled corners - press "q" key in the editor when the object is selected.

slightly corrected course of way #551271869 referring to data from Strava Heatmap; repositioned / resized / split building contures; corrected highway classifications (e.g. service instead of unclassified) applied different offsets to imagery (BING):

additional info: checked about 100 objects that were created in the HOT project. Used project's imagery BING as primary imagery (compared regularly with ESRI / Mapbox); applied different offsets to BING imagery taken into account the former mapping of highways:

-8.36; -4.03

FYI: as I am validating this HOT project, I have just scanned the area for the tag "demolished:building" and have changed the tagging of the few objects found into "destroyed=buildings" instead.

you have modified the tagging of several objects in the city of Acapulco from "destroyed:building" into "demolished:building". The chosen tagging using "destroyed:" prefix is the result of an organized mapping of HOT project 15797 related to the Hurricane "Otis" and was done in accordance with the project instructions.
Even though the tag "demolished:" is more frequently used, its meaning is different from "destroyed:". In contrast to "demolished:" with "destroyed:" there are still remains of the buildings structure on the ground which is the case here.
I want you to ask to stop modifying the tagging in this area, as this tag will be evaluated to assess the damage. It would be also nice, if you could revert your changes.

Os projetos da HOT (osm.wiki/Pt:Humanitarian_OSM_Team) estão focados em apoiar o gerenciamento e a prevenção de desastres naturais em todo o mundo.
Nesse caso, a inundação na cidade de Arroio do Meio (RS). Nesse caso, o "Hub de Mapeo Abierto Améroca Latina y el Caribe", com a participação da UMBRAOSM, o Hub de Mapeamento Aberto da América Latina e do Caribe, e dos capítulos brasileiros do YouthMappers, lançou um projeto para completar o mapeamento de edifícios, estradas e cursos d'água (córrego, rio), veja também https://tasks.hotosm.org/projects/15602/

1) Infelizmente, normalmente só é possível descobrir a origem dos mapeadores caso a caso - por exemplo, com base no idioma definido no editor ou analisando o HeatMap do usuário, por exemplo, no meu caso https://yosmhm.neis-one.org/?jmsbert. No total, 310 pessoas participaram do projeto, trabalhando em cerca de 2.000 tarefas. De acordo com as estatísticas do projeto, 9388 edifícios foram registrados em 17592 registros de alterações e 51 km de estradas foram adicionados.

As instruções do projeto podem ser visualizadas aqui (https://tasks.hotosm.org/projects/15602/tasks) - infelizmente, apenas para usuários registrados do Tasking Manager.
O objetivo era registrar edifícios, estradas e corpos d'água. Infelizmente, o texto é muito longo para ser reproduzido aqui.
Para validação: não há instruções adicionais para os validadores. A tarefa é verificar se as instruções definidas para o projeto foram cumpridas (para edifícios, por exemplo, tamanho correto, posição, formato retangular, sem sobreposições nem nós compartilhados com outros edifícios). Também é necessário verificar se há outros erros óbvios na área. As alterações feitas pelos mapeadores além das instruções não fazem parte da verificação. As correções só são feitas aqui se forem reconhecíveis erros muito óbvios. Se os mapeadores repetidamente registrarem coisas completamente diferentes das especificadas no projeto, eles serão contatados.

2) Eu mesmo não faço parte da equipe de organização deste projeto, nem sou membro do "Hub de Mapeo Abierto Améroca Latina y el Caribe". Em vez disso, faço parte da equipe do "HOT Global Validator" e, como tal, apoiei o projeto validando aproximadamente 30% do projeto geral.

A decisão sobre quais pessoas podem registrar dados e qual o nível de experiência necessário para a validação é determinada pelo organizador do projeto. Nesse meio tempo, também entrei em contato com o organizador ou com meus colegas da HOT sobre a qualidade às vezes ruim do mapeamento. Além das imagens aéreas, também usei o mapa de calor do Strava e o OpenTopoMap como fontes para verificar as posições dos percursos das estradas, alinhar imagens de satélite e registrar a direção do fluxo e o curso dos rios.

having validated other tasks I came across another school area. Same here, "building=yes" was modified into "leisure=schoolyard".
Am I right that the actual situation is like this: a schoolyard covered by a roof? In case of osm.org/way/1225033951 the roof got damaged by the hurricane so that the schoolyard below became visible. For me this is plausible now.
In this case I propose to use two tags: building=roof leisure=schoolyard; in case of damaged roof, the tag "destroyed:building=roof" would be used.
Do you agree?

habiendo validado otras tareas me encontré con otra zona escolar. Lo mismo aquí, "building=yes" se modificó en "leisure=schoolyard".
¿Estoy en lo cierto al afirmar que la situación real es la siguiente: un patio de colegio cubierto por un tejado? En el caso de osm.org/way/1225033951, el tejado resultó dañado por el huracán, de modo que el patio de la escuela quedó a la vista. Para mí esto ya es plausible.
En este caso propongo utilizar dos etiquetas: building=roof leisure=schoolyard; en caso de que el tejado esté dañado, se utilizaría la etiqueta "destroyed:building=roof".
¿Está de acuerdo?

Hola Alex Buenaventura, actualmente estoy validando la cartografía de los edificios afectados por el huracán. Has modificado el etiquetado de osm.org/way/1225033951 de edificio=escuela a ocio=patio escolar.
He comprobado todas las imágenes disponibles (ESRI, BING, ESRI Clarity y Mapbox) - todas muestran un edificio en esta posición y las imágenes de ESRI son de hecho muy recientes con fecha del 6 de enero de 2023.
En mi opinión, se trata más bien de un pabellón deportivo destruido por el huracán.
Para continuar con el proceso de validación he decidido cambiar el etiquetado en destroyed:building=yes
Espero que le parezca bien.

Hello Alex Buenaventura, I am currently validating the mapping of buildings affected by the hurricane. You modified the tagging of osm.org/way/1225033951 from building=school into leisure=schoolyard.
I have checked all available imagery (ESRI, BING, ESRI Clarity and Mapbox) - all show a building at this position and ESRI's imagery is indeed very recent dated from 6th January 2023.
For me it looks more like a sportshall that has been destroyed by the hurricane.
To continue the validation process I have decided to change the tagging into destroyed:building=yes

Estou me voluntariando como validador do projeto humanitarian openstreet map (HOTOSM). Embora eu mesmo tenha estado no Brasil várias vezes, as alterações no OSM foram feitas como parte do projeto #15602 "MAPEAMENTO DE ENCHENTES NA CIDADE DE AROIO DO MEIO (RS)". Isso envolveu o mapeamento de estradas e edifícios na área afetada. O trabalho foi realizado tanto por pessoas no local quanto por voluntários sem conhecimento local.

No decorrer do projeto, o mapeador "Shishir Teja" adicionou a área mencionada acima (caminho 1212047912) com a propriedade "landuse=orchard". Embora eu tenha corrigido o uso da tag em outros lugares, deixei-a nessa propriedade para ajustar os contornos com base nas imagens aéreas.

Você pode alterar a propriedade do meu lado, por exemplo, para "natural=wood". Fico feliz em fazer o mesmo, saudações jmsbert

vielen Dank für die Rückmeldung. Das passt zu meinen Aufzeichnungen, die ich in der Zwischenzeit noch entdeckt habe. Beide gemappte Defis zu einem Objekt verschmolzen. Gleichzeitig habe ich den Mapper der für die Björn Steiger Stiftung aktiv ist (JanW_) informiert, dass ich die Position korrigiert habe. Den ursprünglich von Ihnen hinzugefügten Punkt gibt es auch noch - zum Erhalt der Historie habe ich ihn zum Eckpunkt des Gebäudes gemacht (osm.org/node/11158414622/history)

in diesem Änderungssatz wurde ein Defibrillator am Postgeschichtlichen Museum (Moorstr. 1a) hinzugefügt. Position / Tagging passen (habe ich am Samstag selbst geprüft) -> alles OK.

In geringer Entfernung ist allerdings seit 06/2022 schon ein anderer Defibrillator in OSM eingetragen: Knoten osm.org/node/9801566998. Sind dann hier zwei Defibrillatoren vorhanden oder nur einer? Könnten Sie bitte einmal nachsehen - dann würde ich die beiden Knoten ggf. miteinander verschmelzen.

ich habe mir noch einmal Gedanken gemacht zum "richtigen" Tagging.
Der Wert "hiking=yes" beinhaltet bereits die Eigenschaft, dass es sich um einen Wanderparkplatz handelt. Auf das name-Tag kann dann komplett verzichtet werden, siehe hier: osm.wiki/DE:Tag:amenity%3Dparking#Merkmale,_die_in_dem_Zusammenhang_verwendet_werden

Wenn keine Einwände, würde ich die Änderungen in ca. 1 Woche umsetzen.

Mein Vorschlag:
amenity=parking;
description=Parkplatz auf brennbarer Grasfläche, nicht bei heißem Wetter benutzen;
hiking=yes;
surface=grass

Bitte das name-tag nur für den tatsächlichen Eigennamen verwenden, siehe hier: osm.wiki/DE:Namen#Namen_sind_keine_Beschreibungen

Auf meinem Rechner habe ich leider keine Aufzeichnungen zum Changeset aus 06/2019 gefunden. Ich vermute, dass das Tag zum Supermarkt "NP Discount" (osm.org/way/428751307/) gehört. Diesem habe ich im selben Changeset, dieselben Eigenschaften zugewiesen.
Ich habe die opening_hours von der Straße entfernt, so dass nun wieder alles OK sein sollte.
