No worries, the only reason I brought this up is because your commit showed up in the change history of the Ogden Valley Way, which I am monitoring.

I am not too worried about it because it will change in the future again, but I just wanted to give you a heads up.

Hi tcarlisle, I recommend to not modify the way Ogden Valley (1388570643) which has come from the Weber County GIS system and will be modified in the future again when they publish final changes. At that time, I will replace this way or modify its nodes and will not be able to reconcile whatever work you did to it. It's also a legal boundary for a new city, so we can't just modify it to whatever we want.

Would also request to try to break up your commits so that they are limited to a small geographic area or (even better) a single feature at a time. That allows me to revert a commit if necessary without wasting your work.

Please be cautious with online-only mapping if you are not personally familiar with the area. Many official maps are wrong or out of date.

And I don't agree with this practice of deleting an existing feature or road and creating a brand new one where the road itself has not undergone major construction. All the version history is lost.

FYI, I have corrected the name of the road back to Causey Road. After checking, no one has heard of Wheatgrass Trailhead Road, it is not signposted anywhere, and does not show up on any official map that I can find.

Please be cautious when doing these things. Official maps are often inaccurate and often contain wrong information. OSM must match the reality on the ground, not an outdated or incorrect official map.

Hi, this "Full Water Area" results in several permanent settlements being underwater, especially Echo Bay at this location: 36.3071,-114.4217

I don't know how this has been calculated but it will cause confusion and should be scaled back.

I specified the octane tags as "unknown" as a convenience to the next mapper, who can then more easily set them to "yes" or "no" without having to do a bunch of typing.

The initial source of the data is the state's Department of Environmental Quality which has a list of gas storage tanks with geo coordinates. However, it's not the only source; I cross checked each station against satellite imagery, street imagery and in this case, Chevron's web site. So it's not a simple import that can be attributed cleanly to one source.

This is not an automated edit. I received a master set of gas stations from the State of Utah, and manually reviewed and verified each one with satellite and other imagery.
