Hi 工場長,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping efforts are greatly appreciated. I have observed that you are adding points of interest with multi-lingual names in the name tag. There is a combination of english/japanese/mandarin in the name tags of the points. You can add name:ja for japanese, name:en for english, name:zh for chinese. Please correct your edits.

Hi Lafeer,
Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping efforts are greatly appreciated. But I have observed that you have added so many ATMs with numbers as their names. If these are personal place bookmarks, these should not have been uploaded to OSM. If these ATMs are correct, it would be great if you can delete the name tags from these points of interest. Feel free to reply.

Hi msyam,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping efforts are greatly appreciated. But I have observed that you have added numbers to POIs names. The name tag is to specify the name of the business or establishment, not numbers. It would be great if you can fix this or I would have to revert your changeset completely.

Hi Inayat Ur Rahman,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I have observed that you have been adding year+personal names to all of the guest houses, pubs you have mapped. This is not a good practice. Since OpenStreetMap is a public mapping database, everyone who is using OpenStreetMap based services or OpenStreetMap itself will see these points of interest and get confused. I would like it if you fix your edits and they are so many. Let me know the reason behind why you added personal names in the name tag for these points.

Hi Barlanki,

I have reverted this changeset here (osm.org/changeset/41792504). It has been 1month since you have closed this changeset and your edits were still on the map. This is a public database and all the OSM users see the objects you map. @indigomc @yogi_ks I had to revert the whole changeset. The nodes were too many and spread across a long area to consider filtering them out manually.

Hi scai,

Thanks for your comment, otherwise I would not have known my mistake. My intention was to fix the relation (osm.org/relation/3753553) as it was incomplete and cross interesecting at a place. The members of the relation did not have roles either. During that I accidentally deleted natural=coastline tag as you have mentioned. Again thanks for letting me know.

I have checked and it seems natural=coastline was restored by Dmgroom in this changeset osm.org/changeset/41732133.

I will be more careful this time.

Hi ItalianMustache,

Your mapping efforts are greatly appreciated. But I I have observed that you have created a broken multi polygon. This is the relation id osm.org/relation/6431853. This is the reason why this swamp is not being rendered on OSM. Do you want to fix this or do you want me to delete this for you. Feel free to reply.

Hi Airlobster,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. I have observed that you removed "natural=water". I have looked through the imagery and the area seems to be dry. But if this is a season change you can add "intermittent=yes" tag to the waterbody instead of deleting it. Information regarding this on the wiki(osm.wiki/Key:water). Deleting a waterbody between seasons is counterintuitive. Let me know what you think. Feel free to comment here.

Hi VictorIE,

Your contributions to OpenStreetMap are greatly appreciated. I looked through this changeset along with your other changesets 41465760, 41488327, 41488458 to understand what happened here. The wiki for tagging power stations is here(osm.wiki/Tag:power%3Dstation). The correct way is to tag an individual power unit as a substation as mentioned in the wiki. You have given names to the polygons stating "Diagnostic remove if present after DATE". This may be useful and might make sense to you, but this is a public map database people use on daily basis. Please feel free to comment here. Please fix this or I would have to revert your changes.

Hi DianaPS,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping efforts are appreciated. I have observed that there are duplicates in this area. This changeset from you and this changeset osm.org/changeset/41068383 created buildings and uploaded nearly at the same time. I am reverting you changeset to wipe duplicates and keeping the other changeset. Please feel free to reply to my comment.

Hi Carlos Cevallos Armas,

Welcome to Openstreetmap. Your mapping efforts are appreciated. You have mapped a `tourism=alpine_hut` in a city. Please check this wiki osm.wiki/Tag:tourism%3Dalpine_hut. If you want to map a hut, this would be right tag for the building but not as a POI osm.wiki/Tag:building%3Dhut. Feel free to replied to my comment.

Hi Barlanki,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping efforts are appreciated. But it seems that you have added `tourism=attraction` to a lot of nodes, 'tourism=camp_site' to a lot of bridges and given alphanumeric names. This is not the right way to map/tag bridges, crossings and control switches of a railway track on OSM. You can find on mapping bridges here(osm.wiki/Key:bridge), railway crossing here(osm.wiki/Tag:railway%3Dcrossing) and switches here (osm.wiki/Tag:railway%3Dswitch). Please correct this or I would have to revert your changeset. I will help you do with the cleanup too. Feel free to reply.

Hi Sujan Nepali,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping efforts are appreciated. If all the users strive to map their hometowns, OSM would be a great source of open map data. I have observed that you have given names to the buildings here. I would like to suggest you against it. The names can be the name of the building, name of the apartment complex and by not who lives there. The people who live there change from time to time, so we need to represent the geographical presence of the building instead of people living there. Also, I have changed the ```Way to Roshi river``` to ```track```, as seen from Bing imagery. This road classification guide osm.wiki/Nepal/Roads will help you in understanding the difference between these tags. The roads have to be named from what they are called and not where they lead to. I am sure this is a lot of information to take in. But as you go from feature to feature, you will understand more and more regarding tags on OSM and mapping practices. Hopefully, you find this interesting to continue mapping. If you need help in making your hometown, let me know and I will help you out with it. I am here to help. Please feel free to reply here or drop me a message.

Hi Prijoy Peter,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping contributions are appreciated. But I have found few issues in this changeset. This OSM way osm.org/way/431714538/history is traced to be a residential road. But it is mapped over other roads which were already there (osm.org/way/430025488/history). The tracing was a bit rough and it crosses highways without interesections. I would suggest you to correct it yourself since you seem like a local mapper. What I suggest when you want to correct a certain road is that, edit the already existing OSM ways and correct them instead making an all new one yourself. In this case, you may have to delete some of your ways after splitting and correcting them. I am here to help if you face any troubles in cleaning this up.

Please feel free to reply to this or send me a message.

Hi Juan David Saad,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping efforts on OSM are appreciated. But you have added `name=casa` for all the residential buildings you have traced.
`Casa translates to Home`. You should not give `casa/home` to tag to buildings to residential buildings. `building=house` is the right way in this case which you did. But the name tag as home is unnesessary. Apart from the tags, the buildings are very poorly mapped. There are crossed buildings. It would be great if you can correct it yourself. I will help you with it. Please feel free to reply to this comment.

This was a test to see if iD editor gives warnings on overlapping buildings. Going to revert it, now.

Hi rosomak,

There were a few duplicates for buildings in this changeset. I cleaned up those in this osm.org/changeset/40756340

Hi Rhon001,

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping is appreciated. You have tagged viewpoints to residential buildings, roads and offices.
Please go through this guide osm.wiki/Map_Features to know what tags we have for specific amentities. Please correct your edits as these are visible to all OSM users as POI's. Thank you.

Best,
Manohar
