40739843 | over 8 years ago | Hi jpmartin1977, osm.org/way/21350030/history is definitely not a track according to the satellite imagery. I have observed that all the ways edited in this changeset are tagged as tracks. It would be great if you change them back to the right tags. Best,

39812760 | over 8 years ago | Hi chunty, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. But I am guessing osm.org/node/3744041480 and osm.org/node/4226434092 correspond to a same fast food center? Feel free to reply. |

42538725 | over 8 years ago | Hi MisterOblivious, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping contributions are appreciated. I have observed that you have deleted tracks in this changeset saying "Excessive mapping on private property". These tracks definitely exits on the imagery and I do not see how this big an area could be a private property. But deletion is not the right way in the case. If the area is private and the ways are access restricted, you can add `access=permissive` or `access=private`. You can read more about use of access tags (osm.wiki/Key:access). When access tag is present, routing services like OSRM do not route through the area which is what you would like here. Deleting the data is not the solution. Let me know what you think. Feel free to reply. Would be great if you undo your deletions here. Best,

43455185 | over 8 years ago | Hi Stephanie Landa, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping contributions are appreciated. May I know why you deleted the buildings in this changeset(https://osmlab.github.io/changeset-map/#43455185). Feel free to reply. Best,

42249913 | over 8 years ago | Hi swapnil jagtap, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your interest in mapping is appreciated. But as a mapper and user of the map, you need to understand that OpenStreetMap is a public map database. It is for everybody. So one user cannot map a building and name it `my home`. The name is reserved for the name of the establishment or name of the building itself. Check out OpenStreetMap beginners guide (osm.wiki/Beginners%27_guide) to know more information. You can certainly continue mapping but it is requested that you consider the standards OSM strives to meet. Feel free to message me anytime or reply here. For now I am reverting your changes into OSM. Best,

43250485 | over 8 years ago | Hi Saint_Byte, Your mapping contributions are greatly appreciated. But I have observed that you have deleted this track and leisure playground. It exists in both Bing and Mapbox satellite imagery, may I know the reasy why you have deleted. Thank you. Best,

43263042 | over 8 years ago | Hi calubi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping contributions are greatly appreciated. I have observed that in this changeset you have deleted these exisiting buildings and added your own traces of these buildings in other changesets (www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/43263396, www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/43263509). It is highly appreciated that you are adding new data here with street names, house numbers. But it is also suggested that you merge this data of yours with existing buildings. Would be great to know more information through your changeset comment as well. You are doing great work through your mapping. Would be nice if you can express that with reasonable changeset comments for others to understand your work. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think. Best,

43187605 | over 8 years ago | @zeromap starting to understand the problem. This point is now a hamlet(osm.org/changeset/43342659) and wikidata I added was deleted, according to our discussion. But now, I feel like the census and population tags which are at 20658 does not correspond to this hamlet but indeed the town. Can you take a look into details of the hamlet here if you are a local and change population accordingly. Thank you. Best,

43241070 | almost 9 years ago | Hi Lourence,
|
43187605 | almost 9 years ago | @zeromap Thanks for keeping an eye out. The point location from satellite imagery does seem like a hamlet as in small number of buildings around the intersection along the roads. Do you think it would be a good idea to tag the point as a hamlet and remove the wikidata tag I added? Best,

41880150 | almost 9 years ago | @SomeoneElse Thanks for leaving a message. I lost track of this changeset and was able to get back because you commented. I have looked through all the edits of Lafeer and found them to be inconsistent. Since the user has not many edits, I was able to download all his edits using Overpass. I have jotted down my observations in a gist and opened a public github issue in Mapbox repository to track progress on this. It would be great if you can take a look into the issue and gist linked in the issue https://github.com/mapbox/mapping/issues/241

43049695 | almost 9 years ago | Hi Suryo Adhy Chandra, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. But I have observed that this POI you mapped "Indomaret" is located on the road. It would be great if you correct the position of the POI. Cheers,

42321797 | almost 9 years ago | Hi dannykath, This was a mistake on my part. I have observed that my JOSM account setup was not changed after uploading above changesets and later changed it to my personal account(osm.org/user/manoharuss/history). I will make sure to not repeat this mistake. Thanks for keeping an eye. Regards,

42335225 | almost 9 years ago | Hi Muhammad Shaaban, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your contributions to the map are greatly appreciated. But I have observed that you have deleted a mosque. May I know the reason behind this. Cheers,

42074143 | almost 9 years ago | Hi Vincent Dechenaux, Sorry for the late reply and sure. I see that you are using JOSM. As long as the import is going to help the map and the source of the import is listed osm.wiki/Import/ or the license of the import is okay to be imported into OSM, I have no problem fixing this. Please confirm the source is listed in the import catalogue. I will go ahead merging buildings and aligning them to the imagery. If you want to take a stab at it, do so too. If the import is not discussed, I am afraid the changeset have to be reverted. Let me know by replying. Cheers,

42311267 | almost 9 years ago | Hi Sofm, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your mapping efforts are greatly appreciated. But I observed that you have added a theatre in the Sundarbans. This does not seem reasonable. Do you have a source for this that could be verified? Let me know. Cheers,

42074143 | almost 9 years ago | Hi Vincent Dechenaux, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. But I have observed that these buildings you imported are not aligning with the imagery, also this import does have unmerged buildings. It would be great if you can merge these and align. Feel free to comment and reply. Best,

42015311 | almost 9 years ago | Hi Kyle Snyder, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. It is awesome that you are contributing to HOT projects. I have observed that there are few buildings which are crossing in this changeset. Can you check this place once please. Thank you. Happy mapping. Best,
