Normally pitch is associated with a specific area and sport; see osm.wiki/Tag:leisure%3Dpitch
For that reason I would suggest leisure=park is more appropriate. For comparison, the rectangle inside is marked as a leisure=pitch, and should probably have a non-grass surface tag from what I've seen from a distance.

By my understanding, this lane is not the Gibberie Wallie, but rather this refers to stonework/'fountain', possibly located in the fenced-off square area?

Thank you for trying to help, but the street tag and name are more relevant upon the school area - which already has a name and streetname.
If the issue is the alternative name (with 'primary') then this should be in an alt_name (alternative name) tag which allows for searching to find it, though perhaps it is debatable which is which in some cases. Please discuss if you wish, but I have cleaned up the duplicate name in changeset osm.org/changeset/33128315

Thanks for your edit! In future it would be useful to add a description of your changes in the top-left box, before saving, so that others (and yourself in future) have an idea of the change you have made (and perhaps why).

Thanks!

If you fix a change which is related to a note, please comment on the note and/or resolve it if you think it is appropriate.

I assume that these 'extra' paths were extensions of other paths?

I am now wondering if the way was originally between the Costa and the footpath, ie. connecting the bus station and the centre of the shopping centre?

I went past this on the bus today, and since the hoardings clearly follow the old school buildings I extended the construction area to include them too:

Is this a kind of business or shop?

Thanks for your first edit!
Could you please summarise what you have changed, and why?

29595596 over 10 years ago

Hey Spark! Does this construction actually also encompass the old school buildings?

This seems to have deleted the roundabout at the st machar/bedford rd/tillydrone junction in place of a new round layout. I'm aware there is construction ongoing there, but it isn't completed yet and the roundabout was still there 3 days ago (ie. 9 days after this edit).

29420915 over 10 years ago

Could you clarify the addition and removal of this construction? Was it a mistaken addition, was the source not valid? Please use meaningful changeset summaries/comments so that others can understand what edits you are making. Thanks!

This edit reaches from st machar drive to the railway station; what else was modified in this edit? The summary just talks about a business park.

Hey Mike, you on holiday? :) Addicted to post boxes too now? :P

Hi Ben,
Would it be appropriate to change this to disused:amenity=pub or similar (ie. prepend disused before main tag)? That also retains all the meta information such as that this position is a certain address/postcode down union street.

What have you changed here? 'The footway' is not particularly descriptive. What can you see on the satellite view that informs this?

24404453 over 10 years ago

Hi, is the source for this definitely compatible with OSM? What exactly are 'site cad plans' in this case?

27260778 over 10 years ago

Just a note that you seemed to have dragged some residential landuse above queens park upwards as part of this changeset. I'll fix it.
In general it's useful if edits are kept into small groups each time you edit, and a comment added so that yourself and others know what got changed (and why!) when we come back in months and years to come! :)
Thanks!

Normally the church building is tagged as the place of worship, and the grounds as graveyard or cemetery - that applicable here?
