Spent a week visiting bright and the surrounds.
Can highly recommend riding your bike up mount buffalo 20km of constant climbing rewarded with 20km of descent. Falls creek is a much easier ride as the up is broken up with lots of little downs.
Also did a few walks on mount buffalo. Also very nice.

I mapped the Falls creek climb on my bike. Almost 2 years ago now during the Alpine Classic. I did the 130km section which didn't include Buffalo. Beautiful ride down, the little ups arn't big enough to really work up too much of a sweat.
