67581362 | over 6 years ago | Again, you're basing this on 2011 imagery and you're managed to remove the name "Norbreck Avenue", breaking https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=989747 . The south west of this area looks to have been turned into a new residential area that doesn't appear on the available imagery. The parking aisles you've added in that corner no longer exist. |
67574596 | over 6 years ago | But in doing this you've got rid of the extra information the local mapper has added, including the name ("Imperial Gardens", breaking https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=398754) and the surface type. |
67557112 | over 6 years ago | Are you sure this is "Crosbill Way" and not "Crossbill Way"? OS Locator seems to suggest the latter: https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=1000405 |
67576028 | over 6 years ago | Is it really Meadowview Road rather than Meadow View Road? If so, I'll add a not:name= tag to make sure nobody comes along to try and change it to match the OS Locator entry (https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=921537) |
67553217 | over 6 years ago | Sorry I've had to revert this in my changeset osm.org/changeset/67744561 |
67553217 | over 6 years ago | So, the problem here is that you've based your changes on Bing imagery that's from 2011 when there was a large industrial building here. It is now housing estate. You've removed at least one feature ("Fairlane Drive" https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=1001950) which doesn't appear in the 2011 imagery but was added by mappers more local to the area. Did you not think it strange that someone had added a small park and playground that didn't appear to have any correspondence to the imagery you were looking at? |
67578250 | over 6 years ago | Did you mean to remove the name from Manor Road (osm.org/way/171367033/history#2)? It broke a match against OS Locator https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=481742 |
67386629 | over 6 years ago | You also managed to change this road's name to "w", breaking a match against OS Locator (https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=904700). Be careful! |
67144569 | over 6 years ago | Cool - I'll add a not:name= tag to it to try and prevent anyone renaming it back to what OS Locator suggests (https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=989739) which is clearly wrong in this case. |

63737218 | over 6 years ago | (from osborne avenue, that is) |
63737218 | over 6 years ago | Careful - when you did this you removed the highway=residential tag, which is how OSM identifies what this feature actually is. Fixed in my changeset osm.org/changeset/66660517 |
64694587 | over 6 years ago | If you're sure, I'll add a not:name= tag so this doesn't get flagged up as a mismatch: https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=749429 |
65264818 | over 6 years ago | Think you managed to remove the name "Peacehaven" in this edit, breaking a match: https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=579509 Deliberate? |
64941064 | over 6 years ago | I suspect you managed to remove the whole of Alma Terrace in this edit, breaking the OS Locator match: https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=847382 |
64203644 | over 6 years ago | Ok, but you seem to have renamed them both to Dorrington Way, which why it's showing up as broken in the aforementioned link. |
64203644 | over 6 years ago | Hi, did you mean to remove the name "Deveraux Close" in this edit? It broke a match against OS Locator: https://ris.dev.openstreetmap.org/oslmusicalchairs/map?osl_id=234567 |
64228642 | over 6 years ago | Whether to show it or not is the render's decision. I've seen plenty of people refer to MK roads as just their name, "Grafton Street" etc. |
