Thanks for your answer.
Hope you enjoyed your holidays.
I usually do not revert without answer, except when ignored.
Only reverting some examples does not do the job and myself has neither the man power nor the will to checkout all the individual CS to revert them.
Another problem is the fact that the relations are broken so reverting does only have the job.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it that you care about turn-relations as many are broken and many are missing but we have a problem with the tools you use and with the complexity that iD damaged a lot months/years ago.

Take care

Hallo Hoff1980

Danke

Viele Grüße,
skyper

Hello 5bird
Please, this is no playground and the surface is not salt. We probably have no tag for it but using a wrong one is not a solution. You can always create new tags.
I rather tend to healthcare than leisure here as this is more a therapy.
Taginfo shows two keys with value "salt_inhalation_therapy":
https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=salt_inhalation_therapy#values

Please, change it to one of these tags. Thanks

Hi MVMBA

First I thought, you use your own gpx traces but now I fear you use some traces found on the internet.
Is the license of the source inline with the OSM licenses (ODbL)? What is the license of the source?

Best regards,
skyper

Hi sbelemey

Thanks.
JOSM warns me about broken relations. If iD does not, once again please use a better editor software when working with relations. Most concerning, iD broke most of the relations and now you have to dig deep through object history to understand and fix it.

Best regards

Hi 5bird
Yes, there are problems with the suggestions from iD. E.g. https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=74011 and my comment https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=843723#p843723.
Especially, touching objects just to change FIXME to fixme is not nice as there is nothing wrong with FIXME and it is not deprecated.

Instead solving the issue and removing the FIXME completely would help a lot more. Do you plan to do so?

Hi sbelemey
Despite your CS-comment, you did not remove any relation but left them broken. As this is by far the only case, it looks like that something with your workflow or iD is not working correctly.
Please, recheck you last edits and take with your team. Thanks

Hi MVMBA
Welcome to OSM.
I have several remarks and tips.
First the general ones:
* Please, always add a comment to your changeset as info or short description what your changes are about.
* Please, always add your sources to the changeset, like "survey" or the names of the imagery used.
* In the upload dialog there is a check box to request review, which is wisely checked by beginners.

Now comming back to your JOSM ticket, I noticed two primary problems:
* The geometry looks strange. Did you import a gpx file? You need to clean up a gpx trace that it makes sense for OSM. Clean up includes removing peaks and prettifying curves, plus straightening.
Additionally, OSM ways only need to be split into parts for a reason and can have lots of segments. So many of the short ways should be combined to a single one.
* Finding and using the correct tags is the next quest:
Sorry, I am not 100% familar with the tagging system in the US. Especially, cycle-way tagging varies a bit. But what I can tell is that you always need the key `highway` to define any kind of path/trail/road, that `bicycle_road=*` is a special tag only used in Germany and only an additional tag not defining any trail. `ele=*` is usually used only for nodes and areas but not for open ways. It looks like you are trying to add mountain bike trails, which I would map as `highway=path` or `highway=track` but never as cycleway.
Please, read the wiki. This might be one starting point for tagging: osm.wiki/Mountain_biking

Sorry, for the long comment. If you have further questions please look at:

* osm.wiki/Contact_channels

Hallo Content Complaint (komoot)

Hi Tindog
Thanks for the answer. My example was a bad one but how about osm.org/changeset/111646232?
Mapbox is trying to fix turn restrictions and I am not sure if they do a good job or not. Maybe you can tell me about it with your local knowledge.
Take care

Hi Viki
Sorry, I was wrong in this case.
This was never a valid turn restriction.

Hi Vika
Thanks for your answer but in fact you did not restore/undelete the relation but added a new one. Now the relation's history got lost. Please, always revert changes and undelete objects instead of adding a new copy of the original one.

Again, this looks like a systematically error and a problem in workflow as you need to take a deeper look at the object history of broken relations. Simply deleting them from the couch is usually the wrong action. Please, take about this with your team. Thanks.

By the way, I did not get an answer from your college who broke this relation, yet. Is Viki still working for the company?
Take care,
skyper

Hi Viki
Please, undelete the relation and fix it properly. As you can see in the object history (osm.org/relation/11140744/history), this relation was broken unintentionally and simply removing it makes the situation even worse as it removes more evidence of the original problem. See osm.org/changeset/103312342 for root of the problem.

Hello Tindog
Your changes broke at least one turn restriction relation (osm.org/relation/11140744/history). Mean-while this broken relation was deleted but I fear it should have been fixed instead. It seem this is not the only relation with this problem in the area, e.g.:
osm.org/changeset/111646349
osm.org/changeset/111646166
It would be nice if a lokal mapper could help use, sorting out the mess, so maybe, you want to join the discussion.

Hello Viki_travel_weak

You did not remove the relation nor fix it.
Please, always take a look at the history of the objects. These relation were broken in CS 77471652 (osm.org/changeset/77471652) and never restored.
Simply deleting is the wrong action as these relations need to be fixed.

Please, take a look at all the relations you changed the last month and fix them, thanks.

Would be nice if you inform me after your are done and, please, tell your team about the problem. Thanks a lot.

Und ich hatte mich auch verschaut, die Brücke war nur noch für Fahrrad frei. Sorry, da habe ich mit "zu Fuß" unrecht gehabt und wohl eher verwirrt.
Schönen Abend,
