Thank you for helping to improve OpenStreetMap. In this change you marked osm.org/way/236014093 as "foot=private" and "access=private" and osm.org/way/156619303 as "access=private". However, both ways also have "designation=public_footpath" which suggests foot access is permitted. Can you explain the reason for these changes?

I notice that osm.org/way/124110233 has both "access=private" and "designation=public_footpath" on it. Having walked near here, I don't think it's a public footpath.

In this changeset you have added the "access=private" tag to osm.org/way/222711697 yet this way already has "designation=public_footpath". How can a public footpath be for private use only?

Hi, I noticed osm.org/node/243780744 was accidentally tagged as a tree in the middle of Moor Lane. I've removed the tree tags from it in osm.org/changeset/107914696

Yeah, it's annoying we didn't spot this sooner. I'm far from an expert user of JOSM and I don't know how to make it highlight untagged nodes, but this seems like a useful thing for it to do: I've only ever spotted problems like this with KeepRight.

Thank you for improving the map with data from FHRS. However, the address you've added for the Feather Star is incorrect. The pub's previous location at 15 St John's Street remains mapped at osm.org/way/160271401 - it's new location inside the Red Lion does not have the same address.

If you're unsure of changes you're making please check with the people who added data in the first place: it's more fun to answer questions than to fix mistakes.

I've reverted your change to this pub's name in osm.org/changeset/104272401. Although there are plans to change this pub's name in the future, this has not yet happened. We should wait until names change before updating them in OSM.

You've added a new peak here but osm.org/node/448899243 already exists.

These two nodes need combining: the other one is in the correct place for the trig point so it's probably worth deleting the new one you added and improving the tags on the existing node.

I'd say this is more part of a car park than a driveway. I suspect you could have tagged it better.

I notice the changeset adds osm.org/node/8358514831 which looks like it might duplicate osm.org/node/7008337368 and probably relates to osm.org/note/1475413

Hi. Thanks again for all your work on improving the map. I notice you changed the name of Wirksworth Road to Derby Old Road but left the value of "source:name" as "Sign". This suggests the road has been renamed according to its signage, which seems unlikely. I wonder if Derby Old Road would fit better as a loc_name or old_name as described in osm.wiki/Names - what do you think?

The name of "b" for osm.org/way/904464087 looks like a mistake

I walked near here today and there's no sign of any footpath here. Maybe there was once, but OSM maps what exists today, not things that have gone away. I didn't want to delete the path without checking with you first though.

Hi, thank you for improving the map. I'm not certain, but I thought this was "Oakerthorpe Road" with an "R" not "Oakenthorpe" with an "N". The straight road to the west of this going to Bolehill is named similarly.

This changeset adds the tags "natural=water" and "water=river" to osm.org/way/383695509 so the car park here is now incorrectly mapped as in the middle of a river. I wonder if this change also mistakenly adds such tags to other ways.
