Changeset When Comment

I have fixed it, the imagery is very clear in this area and the likely route is clear as day.
Out of copyright OS 1937-61 confirms that there was no building on the line of the path, it just wasn't drawn very well.
To assume a PROW has gone because of development is wrong, an alternative is one of the perrequisits of gaining planning permission.

Hi, you seem to have deleted a footpath which passes through a housing estate.
Why have you deleted this when it clearly needs to be fixed and the obvious legal line is clearly visible on aerial imagery.
I am reverting this change

Hi, welcome to OSM.
This is useful stuff to add, however you should probably add an extra tag amenity=community_centre to ensure it shows up in searches.

Hi, I assume that the resturant and fish and chip shop are only open to people staying at the caravan park and should be tagged access=private.
Cheers Phil

Hi, welcome to Openstreetmap.
This edit looks a little odd, you have added a hospital node on top of a church.
Were you trying to place it elsewhere, or is the church incorrectly mapped?

HI welcome to OSM.
I see you have deleted a restaurant node, has it closed and what has it been replaced with. When editing (especially deleting) it is helpful to add a comment as to why you are changing the map.
You have also deleted a seamark node for a bell, has the bell really been removed?
Detail is here osm.org/node/1543923217/history

Does this box have any meaning?

What is this? I don't think sculptures would be allowed in Bradgate Park.

The boundaries are taken from the latest OS Boundaryline, so can be assumed to indicate the official boundaries.
I part way through a project to add the Shropshire parish boundaries, some sections of the Severn have yet to be joined to the parish boundaries.
I am not sure how "the main flow" can be determined without local knowledge, it certainly cannot be by looking at bing imagery, the main flow will be the deepest channel, not the widest.

Hi
You seem to have deleted several bus stops in this changeset. Have the buses stopped running here?
This is a case where a changeset comment explaining your actions would be really useful.

Hi, welcome to OSM.
What is the shop now?

Agree totally, changesets covering such a vast area make review very difficult and make us suspicious you are trying to hide something.

Hi Tracy, welcome to OSM and thank you for your contribution.
One minor problem when adding footpaths is that you have not joined them to the roads. This is a common mistake, the path does need to join the road otherwise no router will use it. Bear in mind that the line is the centre of the road. If you could join these it would be appreciated and keep adding the useful stuff.
Thanks Phil

Hi Simon, did you by any chance notice what Coppice Lane is? It is tagged as highway=road which should be changed.

Thanks Phil

Hi Edward
I suspect name:en for osm.org/node/3495186857 should be left blank.

Cheers Phil

Please can you explain this changeset, what is it supposed to mean.

I cannot get my head around this osm.org/way/341908891 and I know the area very well.
And osm.org/way/341908892 is even more bizarre, stretching from Leicester to the coast.

Hi
I have spotted that you have edited the River Severn in Shropshire.
The river forms parts of Montford/Ford parish boundaries and in moving the river flow you have moved the boundaries so that they no longer follow the official lines.
I am not sure what source you used to determine the main flow, although as you are no doubt aware the severn is a strange river and the widest path is not always the deepest or fastest.

The park and ride wasn't residential last time I was there.
Monster, arbitrary landuse makes detailed mapping more difficult.
It should never cross major roads.
