90379935 | almost 5 years ago | They should not be tagged as fast food, they are not retail outlets. Fast food to a map user means I can go there to order a takeaway on their way home and they will be disappointed if they can't. I tend to ignore those businesses in fhrs which are not verifiable. Cheers Phil |
90379935 | almost 5 years ago | Are there really so many fast food outlets in an industrial area? I cannot imagine enough people wandering into an industrial estate on their way home from the pub. Cheers Phil |
90477805 | almost 5 years ago | Crossings do not render on the standard carto, I am baffled by that decision. They do show on the cycle layer osm.org/changeset/90477805#map=19/52.70806/-2.73849&layers=C and http://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/map/map.html#zoom=20&lat=52.7078081&lon=-2.738469 which is a more UK friendly render. Cheers Phil |
90477805 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, the crossing was already in the database. I have updated the tags to indicate that it is a pelican. Cheers Phil |
90368897 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, thank you for your addition but please take your time and do a bit more than the absolute minimum and improve the map by looking after the existing features. You have drawn your road over the top of an existing wood, it is clear from imagery that the wood is now smaller, please take care and fix it. The footpath has been incorporated into the pavement, so should now join the road. Cheers Phil |
90361472 | almost 5 years ago | The best tag we have for collectables/vintage is antiques. Cheers Phil |
90364727 | almost 5 years ago | Phil Perks is already mapped. Is it really a convenience shop? The name suggest it is a butchers. Cheers Phil |
90305056 | almost 5 years ago | I will do.
Cheers Phil |
90305056 | almost 5 years ago | Are you sure about this? The majority of road names seen to be in French. The wiki page does say that the tag does not make sense in multilingual regions. Cheers Phil |
90299032 | almost 5 years ago | Hi
When you add nodes within a building is a bit of a black art but in this case I would put the name/amenity tags on the building and not include a node. Cheers Phil |
90352171 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, welcome to OSM. Thank you for your edit however many of the tags you have removed remain valid. The address tags obviously remain valid and will continue to be valid when the premises become something else. General consensus is to remove the name if the signs have gone and the important one is to change shop= to disused:shop= to prevent someone searching for a gift shop being directed here. Keep on mapping :)

90258209 | almost 5 years ago | Hopefully it will not happen again. That was the second time I had fixed the problem in a week. This mapper hadn't even edited a beach :) |
90130143 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, I assume you mean the demo map on OSM.org, remember that is just one rendering of the OSM database and you should not worry about how something looks. The main thing is that what is in the database is correct. The problem is that things are close together here and there is not space to fully render everything so the rendering software has to decide what to show, Navigation apps such as OSMand will find it and it does render on openstreetmap.fr which has tiles rendered at zoom 20, whereas osm.org only renders to zoom 19. 90132731 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, welcome to OSM. Theank you for your edits however the name tage should only be used for actual names and not used for descriptions,Forest Track is a description and you should not be used in the name tag, the PROW reference also should not be in the name tag, See osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_use_name_tag_to_describe_things Cheers Phil |

89991957 | almost 5 years ago | Louise house is probably better described as a clinic, it certainly isn't a hospital.
Cheers Phil |
90144858 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, you seem to have created a very large building that covers the gardens here. Cheers Phil |
90148752 | almost 5 years ago | I have restored your additions, however I have mapped Carreg Chwislen as bare rock, its not a peak. |

Your edits seem to have been duplicating beaches which were already mapped. What were you trying to achieve? Phil |
