Hi, welcome to OSM. This is very big for a first edit. Please try to keep them smaller.

I am not sure what you mean by fix me requests, but if you means suggestions made by the iD editor, then they do need to be reviewed individually as the suggestions are often not the correct thing to do.

A few issues I have found.
The tags for English Bridge were already part of the relation, they should not be duplicated on the outer way.

M & S, H & M and Smiths are not individual buildings, the buildings forming Pride Hill were mapped correctly after much survey work.

Greenhous was mapped as an area, that was correct. It is not all a single building.

Drive-through=no is not needed on banks, do they even exist outside the US?

osm.org/way/350314934 is part of Rea Brook, but the name should not be put onto the riverbank, the tagging was correct.

osm.org/way/52280910 was still a construction site 3 weeks ago and as all building work has stopped then it probably still is.

Hazeldine Court is on the ground, it should not have level=1 on it.

What is the source of the screens at Cineworld?

Please take care mapping and check each tag that is being changed,

Please add new stuff, but keep you changes small.

Hi, welcome to OSM.

Thank you for your edit however I am always a bit concerned when a new mapper begins by deleting a large number of existing objects.

Please continue to map, but try to add new objects and please look at and consider the warnings generated by the editor, such as crossing buildings.

HI, Black Lodge Brewing was already mapped. I have removed your duplication.

Hi, welcome to OSM and thank you for your edit. Just one small thing, the name tag in OSM is used for actual names, Former Royal Mail Sorting Office is a description of what it used to be. Until it becomes something else, the name tag in this case should be removed.
Otherwise a good edit.
A question on existing data, Elizabeth House is more likely 46m tall and not 46 feet?

And make them meaningful. Data Change is not helpful.

Hi, what source did you actually use for this edit?
osm.org/way/789750526 seems rather unlikely as it creates a routable link. I am guessing there is a break at some point but no imagery shows that and really this needs a survey. Don't know when that will be.
As a minimal hack please tag this as as a driveway with access=private which is how such shared driveways are normally tagged.

Hi, what evidence do you have to change this to a track? Imagery and usage doesn't suggest that to me.

I would include the community name to be clear so prow_ref="Llanrug 75"

There is only one single on the ground object, Shropshire Council and Unitary authority are exactly the same thing.

Q21694759 is a duplication that appears to have been created by someone who lacked any short of on the ground knowledge.

83271335 over 5 years ago

Why have you changed this?

The orignal wikidata tag was accuarate and you seem to have replaced it with a duplicate. The admin area Shropshire is the Shropshire Council area.

Please revert this edit.

Hi
Please could you look at osm.org/note/2150713.
The mapping of York Street does look a bit odd, I can seen no physical division, only paint) on any aerial imagery and the bit of tertiary link seems strange. Should there be some sort of access restriction?

Cheers Phil

Thank you
I have reverted just those items.

<rant at iD>The feature of iD where it suggests fixes to objects that the mapper has no direct interest in was a very poor decision and really should be considered a mechanical edit</rant>

Hi, thank you for your edit.
Your comment suggests that this is a map roulette task to depreciate bridge_name, fine there is no problem there.

You do seem to have changed other stuff, have you reviewed each of these or are these blind edits based on iD suggestions?

For example you have changed osm.org/way/523111898/history from a footway to a path, why?

Also you have added the tag public_transport=station to Leicester North, which is a heritage line and not public transport.

Certainly not a furniture shop either, its a big barn place that sells almost anything and changes with the seasons. I tend to go with shop=variety but will fix it later

Thank you for changing this, however you have not restored the buildings which you had removed the tags from.

When starting to map it is always better to map the places that you know, and look at the changes you have made. We all make mistakes but by looking at the area we quickly learn and fix them.

We do need to revert all of your changes, iD is not able to do this, please do not make any further edits in the UK.

Thank you for the explaination, but please remember we are not allowed to use Google to obtain information.
Individual shops websites tend to have terms and conditions which prohibit usage, beyond personal use, and certainly prohibit the information being published (such adding it to OSM).

Again this is not a single building, why have you added the tag shop=mall, it is a retail park. What Americans call a strip mall.

Why have you tagged Charlies as a garden centre?

Cheers Phil

83051389 over 5 years ago

Bore da, last time I was here the retail park was not a single large building. The shops were very definitely separate buildings and my car was left outdoors in the car park. What are you trying to correct.
Also a bigger concern is what is the source of the unit addresses as they were not in OSM before?

Cheers Phil

83068598 over 5 years ago

Again, why have you done this?

There is no single building covering the retail park, the car park is clearly outside.
