Hello. Thanks for mapping here. I am checking work done by new mappers to see if all mappings are according to the requirements and of a good standard.
Please tag buildings as building=yes. not as building=house
Square each mapped building with the S key and map round buildings as a triangle followed by the O key. See instructions.
Best regards and keep mapping

Thank you for mapping on this project/ A remark. Do not use the Track tag for connection paths between hamlets. Most here are not wide enough for a 4wheel vehicle. Use the Path tag,
Another point. When you draw roads from diverse directions to a village or hamlet, pleas connect them to each other. GPS NAV systems cannot handle gaps in a road. Best regards and keep mapping

Thanks for your reaction. As a matter of fact highways are often subject for a divers interpretation. You are right in the way you look to a highway. On the other hand, like here, where foot( bike, motor) traffic is common, and the road is to narrow ( measured, just over 1 mtr) It makes no sense to call it an unclassified highway. GPS NAV systems will use unclassified highways in their routes, suitable for (at least) 4 wheel cars. not only 4x4
But, these highways always will be subject for divers interpretation. ( on this project I've seen highways which connect hamlets and individual houses tagged as Path, residential, footway, even unclassified. ) Best regards
Frans

a remark. You retagged a highway with a width of appr 1 mtr from path into unclassified. Please check the width of a highway before giving the tag.
Thanks

Hi Tomea3. Thanks for mapping on this project. The imagery , delivered by the task itself is difficult to map from. Please use the MAXAR Premium Imagery. Very good to map form and the youngest one. The (round) buildings are often mapped oversized. probably due to the bad imagery. I will change that. Best regards and keep mapping

Hi Ziegz. A remark. Mapping a round hut in iD editor is drawing a triangle and hitting the O key . See the how to pages.
Best regards

Er lopen 2 paden parallel. Moet nog met gps tracker langs om juiste route te bepalen

Hi Johannes. Thanks for pointing this
A weird situation. No idea how this happened.
A possible cause might be that I moved the track to the east accidentally and did not noticed it. Because the highways were coupled by the fords where they passes the stream it was clear that just the stream was displaced, I corrected this.
Best regards
Frans

Here can you find your original mappings (in red) and adjustments made. I reduced the size of a block what you mapped as a building to a real building. The others still have to be mapped

Hello Beccookstar. Thanks for mapping here.
Validators review tasks to see if they comply with the requirements and correct these.
You map objects as Building=residential or house ,which is a wrong tag. tag should be building=yes. Please take that in account at next mappings
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello MelByron. Thanks for mapping here.
Validators review mapped work and comment or correct errors. In your case I noticed that you map blocks of buildings and single buildings as well as building=residential. This is not how it should be tagged. All indiviual buildings has to be mapped with the tag building=yes and squared with the S key in ID editor. I invalidate this , and adjacent task. please remap the buildings as per instructions.
Best regards

Hello, Thanks for mapping here. A remark. Validators review mappings and correct errors and wrong taggings. Here you map rather small traces (<1 mtr wide) as highway=unclassified. Tagging path should be more appropriate, I changed them.
Another issue. try to connect highways always to each other. NAV systems, based on gps can not deal with gaps in a road network
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello Alamao. Thanks for mapping here.
Validators review tasks and correct often made errors. Here is a classical one.
you were mapping highways, paths in this case and you let them connect to the nodes of the residential area. Please don't do it in this way. Extend the path to the centre and connect the nodes. Do not connect the path to the area nodes or building nodes.
I corrected these
Best regards and keep mapping

HI, See my previous message. I also reviewed and corrected this work. Over 16 objects with errors found. A number of buildings has been mapped and others have been squared.
Best regards

Hello sarahcassius. Thanks for mapping here.
A remark. According to your Profile you are a beginner mapper and have 10 tasks validated. To my opinion you should wait till you are an more experienced mapper and capable to find and correct warnings, errors and others. When you were validating in this changeset you missed a lot of warnings and errors, varying from not connecting crossing highways, highways connected to buildings, etc. In total 20 objects to repair.
Best regards. Please keep mapping !

Hello Emmatheresaj, Thanks for mapping.
I have a remark. Please check a highway on their purpose and width. A highway with a width of just 1 mtr , never should be tagged as highway=unclassified. Use Path tag.
I changed them
Best regards and keep mapping

Hello Mich74. Thanks for mapping here. A remark. When you map highways (paths) to a hamlet, coming from different directions, please connect them to each other.

Hi MFranken. Thank you for mapping on this project. A remark. Please read the instructions about short highways in the middle of nowhere and leading to nowhere. Please do not map them.
Best regards

Hi Sana, I was wandering how you performed with your mappings so I took a look. Your mappings are rather good. Try to pay more attention on extensions on buildings. There were a few buildings overseen as well. ( I mapped them) Depending on the image you map from you can see more. Maxar Premium f.i is more clear and has more contrast..
Since it is younger than Bing, newer buildings can be visible as well ( and can be mapped)
See this webpage with my corrections
