Hello. After your request for a review on Slack:
Please square all rectangular buildings with the Q key of the editor. A remark here. When your corners are not close enough to the 90 degrees angle the Issue triangle on the right hand menu don't react so try to map more precise and close to the 90 degrees corners
See this picture (example) Review own work in iDeditor.jpg
Did you have seen these pages ?

Another point of attention. Never connect nodes of buildings to each other.
From the right side 2 highways came in on the edged. You did not extend them
Best regards

Hello Smda
You map highways and connect them to nodes of buildings. These are errors which have to be solved.
Please never connect nodes of highways to other objects.
Best regards

Hi. back again
1) Most buildings are square so your mapping should reflect that, please remember to square your buildings by pressing the q key while the building is selected. 2) Please outline the buildings as closely as possible to the actual shape and try not to include the shadows of the buildings. 3) Map each building separately.
4) Connect paths/highways to each other so that they become a network.
5. Let paths / highways do not cross buildings.
Best regards

Hi. A remark
Please pay attention to the errors/warnings which show up on the issue triangle of the right hand menu.
Solve these issues if possible before uploading your work
Another issue
Do not use the tag footway. Path is more suitable here
Please stick to the required mapping objects. It makes no sense to map a kind of fence with bushes and ponds.
I removed them
Best regards

Hello Michael.
I reviewed this changeset. A remark.
not all round objects are buildings.
Check for a shadow. A round building has mostly a round shadow.
Check this location

Hello Michael
Thanks for mapping here
A few remarks. Never use tag name:....
with an describing name like dirt road or rural building. and path, Leave it lo local mappers with knowledge about names.
See also This document how and where to map highways
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SxLkCU3IRecsFV2kYx61VImJLLtQiKw3/view
Very short pieces don't need to be mapped at all. as well roads/paths leading into fields or woods
Do not use the tag residential here. Unclassified or path is sufficient.
Please keep also attention to the warnings which rises at the issue triangle on the right side menu and try to solve them
Best regards

Hi Shabani
Was this a validation Check?
The bigger buildings between the highways are not mapped at all except for a few,
Can you manage that?
Thanks

Hi Shabini. About these 2 buildings you mapped and tagged.
If you take a close look they appear (to me) as old and overgrown, so not worth to map anyhow. There are more of these artefacts.

Hi. I reviewed your changeset.
I ran the find non squared buildings script and found 12 buildings not proper squared. I squared them
After running the validation tool 2 duplicated nodes were found. Fixed by the validation tool
1 non squared building reported, Also fixed by the validation tool.
See this webpage what I have done

Hi Shabani.
To start with your last question.
There is no Image available through the WMS image preferences.
There is a plugin available for loading the AI imagery, but I found some issues confusing, (not me alone) and want to get experienced with it before I should recommend it.
In general, Use the MAXAR imagery since that is the most recent.

Ok. I will advise you in how you can validate data.
I come back in a PM direct to you

Yes, you are totally right. It's indeed in Papua new Guinea.
It came up during a OSM changeset analyser on a project in Tanzania.
No Idea were it went wrong.
Best regards and perhaps do we meet again somewhere during mappings
Best regards
