I wonder why the training the dataset is not licenced as ODbL ? It’s seems like an extract of OSM data.

And I’m curious about whether this training dataset has been fixed straight in OSM, or if there is a derivative database that could improve OSM…

I see that there is no mention of OSM in the Acknowledgements section on GitHub.

I’m not sure, but I think maybe an issue in the repository about these questions might be useful.

Sinon vous pouvez déposer une Note, qui sera traitée par un autre cartographe. La documentation : osm.wiki/FR:Notes

I’m not sure this message will be seen by all those you would like to help by updating the database.

Mapping missing bridges strikes me as useful, at least for routing.

If you want to keep the state of the database before the catastrophe, download an extract, even set up a rendering server based on it. Or the openstreetmap.de rendering server could stop updating for a while, with a note.

I would be really curious to explore the data, but I couldn’t find it.

In order to lighten to load on overpass, you should specify the bounding box of the displayed map. Here is a doc to do that, in french though…

On the other hand, you should have a look at MapComplete, which is a thematic map viewer and editor. There is some image support (display from wikimedia, osm image, upload to imgur).

MapContrib and StreetComplete are in the same spirit.

Si c’est le cas, n’hésitez pas à supprimer le nœud, c’est assez simple. Sinon dites-moi, je pourrais le faire. Et d’autre part, en effet, les notes sont plus précises et plus faciles à traiter.

@SK53 It’s probably the case, Maps.me doesn’t allow to modify existing items anymore. And creating notes is not easy, you have to create a feature, and add a note on it…

I guess Maps.me is the wrong tool for what they are trying to do.

http://learnosm.org/ is a good entry point for new mappers and users.

Effectivement je ne pense pas que l’on puisse représenter une surface en CSV.

Mais peut-être en passant par GeoJSON, qui est plus expressif. Éventuellement en utilisant Geojson.io pour la conversion.

Malheureusement je doute qu’OSM soit le bon écosystème pour ce genre de projet.

Je partirais sans doute sur un outil plus générique comme QGis, qui permettra d’importer des données et ensuite de les modifier à loisir.

Néanmoins une première approche pourrait être d’utiliser UMap avec un fond de carte le plus neutre possible, tel que Watercolor de stamen. Il y en a pleins d’autres accessibles dans l’interface d’Umap, et il est possible d’en ajouter des personnalisés, par exemple créé pour l’occasion via Mapbox studio.

La création d’un ensemble de marqueurs (éventuellement reliés par des lignes) à partir d’un csv de positions est assez simple avec Umap : Guide.

Important thing to know to use jitsi, never let anyone use Firefox. :-/ Sitck to chrome or chromium, or it will lag for everybody. Otherwise I’ve been using it with success these last few weeks.

attention votre requête récupère toutes les voies qui passent à moins d’un kilomètres du centre de la carte ! En ville où les voies sont très découpées, ça peut marcher, mais à la campagne un chemin de 10km paraît accessible en entier…

La bonne réponse est, je pense, l’isochrone (ou plutôt l’isodistance d’ailleurs).

Un exemple à Paris, sur OpenRouteService, mais la différence sera plus frappante dans des lieux avec peu de chemins (exemple au hasard).
