92379168 | almost 5 years ago | I think this has been discussed previously with ADT too.

92379168 | almost 5 years ago | Seems like there has been a recent change in Nominatim, where building:part has been made searchable. However, I would prefer that buildings with unique addresses remains as buildings instead of building:part. Nevertheless, this change is still impacting other downstream usages of address search and rendering whereby the (1) address number is no longer rendered and (2) other apps that only indexes buildings and not building:parts will break searches. |
91805671 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, Your recent changes have broken the 3D renderings, such as Pan Pacific, The Float, Saint Andrew’s cathedral. https://osmbuildings.org/?lat=1.29246&lon=103.85950&zoom=16.6&tilt=29&rotation=19 https://demo.f4map.com/#lat=1.2924762&lon=103.8585509&zoom=18&camera.theta=61.092&camera.phi=-2.865 |
92379168 | almost 5 years ago | The recent changes have made those building addresses non-searchable in Nominatim. |
88264288 | about 5 years ago | The problem is that even commercial areas have the service=driveway and service=parking_aisle removed.
This happens all around regions where I have carefully tagged the relevant service ways with the correct categorisation, only to see it removed.
I don't care which stupid Wiki are you referring to, but my definition of driveway comes from US law which has a proper definition, unlike the Wiki which comes from a dictionary and is not even defined in UK law.
Most importantly, your team should not remove data unless you are sure that it is not something verifiable on-the-ground. Please take your tagging wars elsewhere, and stick to what people have already tagged. |
