93206226 | over 4 years ago | Just received your direct message, but it's an exaggeration to say this edit is a serious mistaken and your rants doesn't help. Sorry, but I'm mapping from outside the country. I'm stuck with an edit in Nueva Ecija, so Paul, hold on. I'll undelete those bike lanes, plus alignment fixes. |
93454723 | over 4 years ago | Correction: "Yaman" should be "Yamaha" (editing from tablet) |
93345476 | over 4 years ago | Have been watching your last edits, but please use more specific edit comments than unclear "finding stuff/things". Also, you should have marked the closed-off sections of Carnation with gate than chopping it off and makeing them dead-end. |
93206226 | over 4 years ago | You could have been mapped them as road attribute (cycleway=) than a separate line. |
91600165 | over 4 years ago | Just been editing Evia to fix bad edits by "cosmicadobo" but you've restored a previous note that sounds like some legal notice than a useful note for mappers (and no, I don't see any no-jaywalking or "bawal tumawid" signage anywhere at the roundabout/rotonda except the "Prohibited on Expressway" at the MCX entrance). Also, there are sidewalks from Daang Reyna to Biazon and Daang Hari, so foot=no also affects ped routing around the area. |
92425193 | almost 5 years ago | Which terminal do route 24 actually use? South Station, or Starmall? |
92350594 | almost 5 years ago | I find part of your reply hard to read. I'm fine with standardizing things, though using "Arrivals" sounds rather foreign, and we usually say that on airports and ferry terminals. Last thing, bus terminal arrivals area is usually for unloading only, but it's not always the case. We usually call the arrivals area of a bus terminal unloading or "babaan", so no need to push for "Arrivals" until signs change. |
92350594 | almost 5 years ago | I'm still working with a major edit in Batangas City, but why replace "Unloading" with "Arrivals"? Just because the jeepney terminal is named with "Departures". |
91111182 | almost 5 years ago | tl;dr, but I still see the roads connecting the exit with Sta Rosa-Tagaytay as part of the exit complex, unless this one is some stub connecting to some proposed or unfinished expressway. |
90220571 | almost 5 years ago | Just to add up, if the provincial routes get reactivated sometime, I think they have far more limited stops north of Dasma to avoid competing with city buses. Also, if the "extension" of Route 28 is just for buses headed back to garage (not carrying passengers), then that should be restored to end at Pala-pala. |
67272023 | almost 5 years ago | What's with the foot=no tags on Lucena Grand Terminal access roads? Tested ped routing from arrivals/unloading/intraprovincial departures to jeepney terminal, and cannot create route. Please help eliminate incorrect uses of foot=no for no ped crossing/jaywalking since we've agreed on that. |
90707112 | almost 5 years ago | Don't see any bug since I downloaded latest version. |
89806376 | almost 5 years ago | Just to correct my reply on message regarding stop names, "interchange" is not really SG-specific, but is also a technical term for what we usually call terminal, and may also be used for transfer stops/stations. |
82323327 | almost 5 years ago | The misunderstanding is something to do with English being a second language. "Give way" (typically Brit/Commonwealth, in the context of driving) is chosen as a close translation of "magbigay daan", nevertheless, simply "magbigay" does give the same meaning (and can be simply translated as "yield"). I think DPWH have used "yield" for pre-2004 standard signs, but that's something we don't fully know. |
82323327 | almost 5 years ago | Also in addition to previous post, SCTEX uses a mix of DPWH and MUTCD-based signs. Signs based on U.S. standard are used north of Mabalacat, while PH ones are used south and on new signage or replacements. |
82323327 | almost 5 years ago | By personal observation, road signs on Ayala properties are now mostly PH standard (e.g. pedestrian crossing, two-way, keep right, loading/unloading), except others not covered by the DPWH standard. |
82323327 | almost 5 years ago | Also, Mapillary already supports PH road signs in its sign detection. |
82323327 | almost 5 years ago | It's still possible to have them input manually instead of relying on a plugin. Since Clark and Subic are former U.S. bases, agree some signs still follow American practice (there are also three/four-way stops there as well), but new traffic lights installed by BCDA and SBMA, respectively and signs should be the same as what is used in rest of PH. For Ayala, BGC, they use a mix of MUTCD and DPWH (PH standard) signage. |
56603499 | almost 5 years ago | It's two years ago since this edit, but I'm still wondering why would you decide to put your personal details on the map. Have deleted already your personal location, and very detailed map of your house (except business). Thanks for creating a detailed map of your village, except that you shouldn't placed very sensitive info about yourself. |
