112432034 | almost 4 years ago | Hi and welcome to OpenStreetMap! I appreciate you adding these houses. Quick tip - you can use 'q' when selecting a building to square it. While not required, buildings are encouraged to align with their outlines (sometimes more than just 4 points). The existing buildings along US 101 and the beachside hotels are a great example of this - it doesn't have to align perfectly but it's more representative of what can be seen from imagery. I know that adding houses from scratch can be tiring, so you might be interested in using AI-created buildings as a starting point (https://mapwith.ai/rapid). |

112438705 | almost 4 years ago | It looks like you added a building=retail tag for the food court. I don't remember this being a building the last time I passed by here - maybe this tag could be replaced with landuse=retail instead? |

111511506 | almost 4 years ago | Just curious - where did you find that map? I could only find this one, which is a little different:
|
111951113 | almost 4 years ago | POI removed due to a lack of response and incorrect location |
111952514 | almost 4 years ago | Reverted - please refrain from using OSM as an advertising platform and adding consultor's homes as businesses in the future. Advertising messages only adds spam to the map (osm.wiki/Key:description) and users might mistake this as an office. |
111951113 | almost 4 years ago | Please only use established tags: Google Maps URL and Years In Business aren't used by any service and just adds spam to the map. I recommend you use the OpenStreetMap wiki to learn about what keys to use and the proper formatting of their values. Here are some things I noticed that should be fixed:

111585251 | almost 4 years ago | Hi,
Also it looks like this account is used for organized mapping by Hilton Hotels. I recommend you take a look at the Organized Editing Guidelines (https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Organised_Editing_Guidelines) before you continue mapping. -archpdx |
110399734 | almost 4 years ago | Hi, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. After reviewing the imagery and existing width tags on some of these, the paths do seem to be wider than other sidewalks in the area such as near Fleet Farm. This was a mistake on my part. I added foot=designated and segregated=no to these cycleways and changed ways that were missed back to cycleway. I appreciate you taking the time to fix my mistakes along Grand Prairie. |
111550707 | almost 4 years ago | Hi and welcome to OpenStreetMap! I appreciate your interest in adding more details to this new neighborhood. However, it looks like you created duplicate sidewalks in this changeset (such as osm.org/way/985959949). The existing 'cycle paths' should suffice as they specify access to both bike and foot traffic. Having a separate way for foot traffic is not necessary unless they're physically separated. I have removed the duplicates and realigned the sidewalks you have added. In the future, you could change the background to a source that's more up to date (b hotkey) at the expense of a lower resolution. Esri World Imagery seems to be more up to date in this area. Make sure to offset the imagery when you do this so that it's aligned with Bing (the default). -archpdx |

110962517 | almost 4 years ago | Thanks for cleaning this up! It makes more sense for these to be fast food nodes than restaurant buildings and it definitely renders better too. I'll use this and as an example for future cart pods I might come across. |
99204154 | almost 4 years ago | You're correct, I've since realized that I shouldn't add names for these pitches. I've recently removed names from Aloha HS and I'll probably remove names from other schools around this area sometime this week or next week. |
